The hotel has a nice view of the lake if you have a lake view room or set out on the deck. I would have expected a better room considering we stayed for 5 nights but the guy at the front desk would not accommodate my request without paying for an upgrade.

The views of the High Peaks and Mirror Lake from the Great Room were spectacular. The food was tasty, and more reasonably priced than many of the main street restaurants. Dinner service was wonderful; breakfast seemed to be a bit under-staffed, but everyone was friendly. There doesn't seem to be any staff to help with bags, and some of the rooms are quite far from the front desk.

We love this place. However, this trip, two of three elevators in our wing were mot working. We also had language issues withe a few of our servers who struggled with Englis.
