For the price the room we got was actually very nice. Bathroom was a little small but overall it was clean, very comfortable and convenient to stores. Would definitely stay again.
No heat in December. In South Lake Tahoe. Let that sink in. They knowingly gave us a room without heat. The room heater was blowing cold air. We left for dinner and came back to an even colder room. The weather was under 30F degrees. When I asked for different accommodations, I was offered a small plug-in heater that is inappropriate for the room size and the space. The front desk said "it's too cold for our heaters to work". Again, this is Lake Tahoe. 30F degrees is normal for December. I asked for a different room and then was offered an inappropriately small room that did not match my original booking. When I told them it was not acceptable and that I needed a minute to gather my things and find a different accommodation, they told me to "leave if not using the room".
Carpet was stained, bathroom is completely outdated and we kept hitting the shower head— it is so low and I am 5’3”. Doors to bathroom didn’t close and beds were incredibly uncomfortable. No one came to clean our room. The place is overpriced and needs renovation. Also the front desk is unreachable - busy signal anytime I have tried to call.
Definitely I will not recommend to do reservations for this place very bad management this is how it goes ..
I did reservations 15days in advance for 2 bedrooms and check in time is 4pm. When I got there on Nov 15 @ 6:00pm. I been told by this front desk incharged who does check in. She told me I am sorry we have no room available at this time I said but I reserved 15 days ago. She said let me checked again than she turned around and said yeah look like we have 1 room opened up but it for disabled person I was really pissed off that time and kept my cool and said I have a 7yr old daughter and wife there sitting in the car which she can see through right from her window since I parked next to the office.
So she said you know what I will have upgrades you to better and bigger room and that will be in the next property I said okay if this is what going to happened I would never reserve this place that is beta switch.
I said yes and I have to drive to other property no gated parking she gave me a more saying they are not liable for break in your car I have to display on the car that was really shady.
Okay enter the room so cold there was I heater in the bed room which works on and off I was so pissed off my wife looked at me said don’t just let it go. And worse thing no carpet at all on the floor and as freezing cold and no normal cloth blinds only a paper blind I never see that kind of bad rental property so disappointed..
Definitely I will not recommend to stay here !!!
Rooms need to be cleaned more to code, I found old food and dust build up around bed and my white socks where filthy after few hours never touch the floor barefoot after seeing my socks discolored. Also, had a roach crawling on the night stand, informed front desk of incident no discounted adjustment to the rooms I rented where applied, hope they clean up rooms and spray. I will not be staying again.
The man who checked us in was nice. The bath room got clogged and the check in clerk brang us a plunger and poked her head in the door which I thought was weird. The 2nd night I forgot my room key in the room and she gave my husband the key and his name was not even on the room. I dont think that that was safe. Also becareful we left the trash can outside so the housekeepers could through the trash out. We came back and left it outside someone else through trash in there and i looked out the window to see 3 racoons digging in the trash. For the amount we spent it was great. The room was nice but we moved the bed and it was dirty.
This has been one of the worst stays I have ever had, EVER. The restroom was infested with mold, from the walls behind the toulet to the window trim all way to the shower wall/ceiling. I would like to know how to request a refund. I have photos and video of the mold.
Great customer service. Room was nice and upgraded. Outside environment eyesore but do not let that be the reason to not book here, room was very nice and clean.
