This place was a good value overall, but not somewhere we would stay again. Since we booked this place largely because it was right on the lake, we were immediately disappointed to discover that while the property has beach access, our unit was located across the street from the highway, so it wasn't as close or convenient to access the beach, pool and spa. If that is important to you, I would call and see what units are on the beach side before you book. We stayed in a one bedroom with a kitchen. It was pretty clean upon check in, though the rug, couch, and fabric on the dining chairs had stains/ built up dirt. There was no A/C and we were advised not to keep the windows open at night because of bears in the area, so we did our best to cool the place down between dinner and bed time. The bed was pretty firm and not very comfortable for my husband or I, especially with sore muscles from hiking, etc. They do have kayaks and paddle boards, but there is a fee (per hour) to rent them, so we rented some at a nicer beach on the lake. The worst part of all for me was the shower. I would set it to a warm temperature and it would turn suddenly scalding hot without warning. I would turn the cold water up to correct the temperature, which would lead to the shower eventually turning suddenly cold. We are pretty chill guests and staying here wasn't a huge downer since we were gone a lot, but those are a few things that I would have wanted to know before booking.
