Loved the staff and the location. We got the last room available I believe and managed to squeeze in the free breakfast which was lovely.

Pool was not open, front desk sally sassalot made no apologies for the pool not open and hot tub not working due to refurbishment. But instead made a comment as if it was my fault saying "most people who travel know to ask hotel if facilities are available, instead of just using the website as it takes months to update-know you know better...." snarky smile and just carried on like a robot. No apologies. No reimbursement or courtesy extended for something you pay for and not delivered but instead make it your fault. Very unpleasant, i was really looking forward to a heated pool. Most folks do.

Large room, comfortable, close to downtown

Nice place, courteous staff, large room, comfortable bed….the next time we’re in the area hiking we’ll stay here again!

Breakfast included. Pretty ok standard but very glad to have metal forks and some actual plates available so we can use less plastic, They also had nice large refillable shampoo, etc in bath. Right by Donner Lake also
