Summary:

Welcome to Fairlane #6! We didn't think Lansing had enough hip, unique short term rental options, so we've set out to create some! The Fairlane apartment building has been a staple of the Capital Region International Airport for over 40 years. Located in a seasoned industrial pocket of Lansing, a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Lansing and MSU, this unit is located on the third floor of the building. We had a blast setting this one up. We hope you like it :)

Our building is located in a seasoned, industrial pocket of Lansing, right across from Capital Region International Airport. We're a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Lansing and MSU.

We have a very strict no smoking policy inside the home. If you need to smoke, please do so outside. We advertise a no smoking space to guests and want to be able to honor our word. A $200 fee will be charged to any guests that are found to be smoking on site.

Great place

The host was great and communicated very well with me. We had an issue with the hearing and he fixed it straight awayThe apartment was lovely, clean and spacious with plenty of parking We will definitely be staying here again.Thankyou Dean for everything

The worst experience I have ever had with VRBO!!!!

I rented this apartment for my employee. She arrived and was not able to lock the door. She was a single female and we decided to have her leave rather than risk her safety. Also, the apartment was dirty, the only thing that the cleaning people did was make the bed, AND the smell of marijuana was HORRIBLE. I tried to reach the property Manager, Dean that evening, when she was checking in. There was no answer. My employee had to leave and get a hotel room. We were not able to use the apartment at all. Dean never reached back out to me at all besides sending me checkout instructions at the end of our "stay". When I explained to him that we were not even able to use the apartment, and wanted a refund, he explained that he tried to call me and I didn't answer. He stated that he called the "number on file", and it was just too bad, I wasn't going to receive a refund. I asked my credit card company to reverse the charges, and now VRBO has sent me over an email to prove my case since Dean will not consider a refund even though we never used the apartment and I have proof that I tried to reach out to him via the message center in VRBO on the night we tried to "check in". Here is the last message I seen from Dean (which by the way, he has NO PROBLEM very quickly communicating via the website now!) Message from the host We are aware of your attempt to leverage a refund using the threat of a bad review. That has been documented multiple times by our team. Fire away. WOW

Lansing Stay!

We loved the place, felt so cozy and soothing that made such a trip we had been stressing over as smooth as chocolate, can't recommend enough! Some loud neighbors but we just drowned it out with the wonderful TV setup. Thank you so much!

Very nice

Good location, few minutes from everything, including the state capital. Its right across the street from the airport, it was a pretty cool view. We spent a lot of time watching the planes. The property itself was so cute.

Nightmare

Apartment was filthy: floors were dirty and the 'swifter' in the closet had a dirty pad on it (no other pads to use anywhere and I used a towel to mop the entire apartment the first night), dirty dishes in dishwasher, greasy fingerprints on table and cupboard doors, mold under bath mat in tub (I had to scrub it), one light bulb out of 4 working in bathroom, burner too large for drip pan so you are cooking on a very unlevel burner on stove, NO INTERNET THE ENTIRE 7 DAYS OF OUR STAY, response from Host was poor, often taking more than 24 hours. no hangers to hang clothes and no iron (host claims a steamer was in closet - it was not), No dishwasher tabs to use (maybe why the dishes for us were left dirty - disgusting), links on emails do not work making responding or contacting hosts difficult especially when we had no internet. One or two issues would be no problem but this was a nightmare. So disappointed with this property, host, property management and VRBO.
