Lovely room, just a bit of a musty smell in the shower room on arrival. Seemed to disappear after I put the shower on to heat up. As always with Rad group hotels everything else was there excellent standard

Friendly staff, but very noisy!
The staff were great, the lady who I assume was the manager (I think her name was Jane) was very friendly, as were the breakfast staff. Breakfast was great and room prices very reasonable. The hotel itself is well maintained, although not 100% as clean as I’d like (and had a slightly dank/smokey smell). Also lacking in facilities. During our stay it became apparent that it’s a party/venue hotel as the crowd was very loud and loudly banging doors and talking in corridors late at night. This wasn’t ideal for us, but obviously a great and fun hotel for the right crowd!

Got a room right next to a very busy conference room party went on late and kids running round very late speak to staff and I was told what did I expect Breakfast was lovely but staff not so table wasn’t set when knife and fork was delivered it was dirty and asked for replacement never got any had to pinch of other table

Tesla supercharger motorway country hotel stop
I chose it mainly to break up my journey going south to the M6 and use the sparingly used and excellent Tesla supercharger in their car park. Breakfast starts at 7am and so it’s a reasonable start to a continuing journey. No M74 motorway noise at night even with the windows open and a view of the undulating hills.
