Need of some TLC
It was obvious at check-in that they did not read the request of a handicap room. I know they are not available most of the time, but they did not even read the request. They also failed to bring a shower chair to one of the rooms that was desperately needed, and the heat and all three of the rooms were not working correctly and maintenance agreed that the hotel was rundown and needed to replace the outdated heating/cooling system. It’s a shame because it used to be nice place but it needs a lot of work.

We only stayed one night but the property was clean, and the staff was very helpful. My mother is disabled, and they were willing to accommodate her needs as much as they could. Will stay there again

The room was very worn, peeling wallpaper, stained carpet, grout coming out of tiles in bathroom, rusted bathroom sink. Could hear neighbors on both sides and upstairs all night long. Didn't get much sleep. Elevators were very distressed. We expected better from the Golden Nugget.

We stayed here because they allow pets, and we always travel with our dog, and this hotel was very accommodating, and clean! We stayed 4 nights, and got in late, so we got a room on the 4th floor. The receptionist said i could ask in the morning for a ground floor room, with a patio right off the back door. I was able to get a nice room, and we went straight to the new room with no waiting!!! Will stay here every time I go to this area, nice place.

First night room dirty and cold. Second night tried to turn heater up popped a fuse. Very cold in room. They came to fix could not be fixed had to move to other room. Elevator not working. Hotel date and needs upgrades done. Walking to other room and noticed about 10 rooms not available do to issues. Darn shame we use to love the golden nugget. For our inconveniences they comp resort fee

This facility had major problems with the amenities. Two ice makers were broken, one elevator was not in service. Our room was assigned to another individual in error after we checked in.; this was a major error on the staff and their procedures. Only redeeming factor was the beds are excellent.
