Floors were absolutely dirty. Hairdryer was sticky and with hair on it. They said they would clean it when they came back to clean the floor but didn’t even touch the hairdryer. No clocks in the room.

We have stayed at this motel several times. It is right on the beach. It has nice rooms. The staff is friendly and efficient. I will stay there many more times.

Great hotel with very nice clean rooms, friendly staff and the pool area and firepits are excellent. However, the hotel really lets itself down with very poor wi-fi and the housekeeping staff being incredibly loud. It's ironic that you pay a hotel for apparent comfort and a good night's sleep, but the maids are seemingly intent on waking you up. The banging and scraping in the room they were cleaning next to mine was so bad that you'd have to make a conscious effort to be that loud. It appears to be a planned decision by the hotel mgmt to ensure their guests wake up and check out early. Based on this, I cannot recommend this hotel and won't return.

Advertised room as having obstructed view. Actually had a great view of the ocean. Room was a good sized one. Fitness room was limited but adequate for my needs. Front counter staff was friendly and helpful. Had a great stay and intend to come back.

Great location and well maintained. Large room was a nice change from most hotels. We got take away meals from the Mist. Both meals, the burger and the Halibut, were very good.

The room did not look like the pictures at all. The bed had a plastic mattress cover or something so it was incredibly loud any time we moved a muscle. Also very uncomfortable and old mattress. Old everything, very beige. There must be some remodeled rooms that look like the photos but we did not stay in one. The gas fireplace never fully turned off so our room was way too warm to sleep. Balcony tough to enjoy when covered in bird droppings and sliding glass door hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Not worth the price and not accurately advertised. Will not be staying again.

Plus: great view of ocean! Opened our balcony door and slept to the sounds of the ocean, simply marvelous. Negatives: 1. was put in a room that didn’t have a properly working toilet. We had to have them call maintenance after the toilet clogged from a small amount of toilet paper. They “fixed” it and still couldn’t flush toilet paper down the toilet. There wasn’t any water pressure. 2. We arrived to find out there wasn’t any cable for our stay. I was hoping they had tvs where we could sign into our streaming services like many hotels have but nope. Old tv and a dvd player. The front desk said we could check out 2 dvds from a catalog. The place was packed so we had to write down multiple choices since all our top picks were taken. Kind of disappointing but we made it work. 3. There was literally a spit wad left on the ceiling from the people before us. Eww! Definitely not worth $300 for one night I paid. I would have been happier with $150/night for what we got.

Wished we stayed longer

This place was a solid 10/10. The room was cozy, decorated nicely, beach front with ocean waves crashing in the background while you sleep. Sitting in the morning watching the surfers while you sip a hot coffee was incredible. The seagulls were hilarious, we named them all Steven.
