Nice rooms. Staff was not friendly at all. Not curteous, didnt explain things well. My room was given away although a reserved it weeks ago. I had to take a room with a smaller bed. When I checked in had to park my car in the back , put my luggage on a cart and tried to come in through the back. The front desk clerk forgot to mention that they lock aclcess to the back after 10pm for safety reasons. I called her to let her know I couldnt get in, she didnt apologize for not letting me know she hung up on me while I was still speaking. Horrible expierience, they dint want to hear you when have something to say. All I wanted was to be heard. If an issue came up they shpuld know how to handle it. I was not being rude ir screaming, I just wanted to be validated and they didnt mske me feel valued at all

The Homewood Suites is one of my favorite hotels. I live in the local area and have stayed here several times. However, when I need to just get away to relax, peace, and quiet I stay here. The hotel and the entire property is always very clean. I love the pool, barbeque pits, and games you can play near poolside. One great thing is the large jacuzzi- strong jets, very hot, and spacious . Whether you stay on the Hampton Inn side or Homewood Suites (I have stayed at both), you can't go wrong. Directly across from hotel (walking distance) many choices for lunch or dinner plus shopping center also walking distance is Whole Foods, In n Out burgers, TJMAXX, Handels ice cream, etc. There are other hotel choices, but I always check first to see if this hotel is available. Breakfast - I love that breakfast is included with hotel stay. Overall, breakfast is always good. However, my only problem is I just wish they would change the main dish more often. Each time I have stayed, I am there for 3 to 5 days - it's the same pork and chicken carnitas i'll take care. I'll take care of it right now so you don't do later on in the refrigerator. Give him half another half. I'm here. I give him half a breakfast half a lunch (every morning). It would be nice if they serve turkey sausage , bacon, etc. sometimes. The kitchen staff very nice and helpful - just wish if one staying whole week - you could not have same item everyday.

This is an excellent place to stay if you're visiting the Long Beach area. The facility is clean and quiet. Staff is nice. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

It was our first time. We were in town for a funeral and it was close to our location. It was a safe area, lots of parking. The room was clean and the kitchen amenities were amazing. Will definitely be back.

Great customer service, all the property was super clean, great food options within the hotel. The main pool area will look amazing once it has been completed. They also keep the beach area very clean. Extremely recommended. The tours/actuvities that they offer not so much.
