We loved this motel! Would choose it every time over a large chain! Loved being right by the beach! Queen Room was spacious and we had a water view. My only one complaint/suggestion, is that they update the toilet and tub area in bathroom. Everything else has been updated… but the toilet was SO low to the ground and the tub was old and glass doors were about to fall off! But Will definitely stay here again!

A plumbing issue occurred in our room through no fault of our own. The toilet overflowed and flooded the bathroom. I spent an hour or more drying it up and checking to see what was possibly wrong. This occurred about 3am and we were unable to use the bathroom. We walked to the lobby bathroom, and it too had the same problem. We had to pack up and leave around 5am to find a working bathroom. No shower, no bathroom, no nothing. Had to catch the Badger Ferry at 9am so not too many choices. No answer at the hotel until after 8am. I called twice and requested a refund or some consideration, basically this wrecked our day. Both times I was told a manager would call me back. Nobody called. Very disappointing and upsetting.

Our room was clean and not cramped. We had a partial view of the lake, but the only negative was the balcony deck needs to be refinished. Close to the water and staff was very pleasant. This is our go to spot when we stay in Ludington from now on. Also, two blocks from downtown area. Highly recommend staying here.

Stayed 2 nights in lakefront. rode on the badger. Great view of lake mi. All the salmon fishers and car ferry going out in morning and in at evening. Room was great but internet and tv didnt work 1/2 the time. A little frustrating not having that.

Had a horrible experience--our whole wing/floor, not being told ahead, had toilets overflowing/couldnt use bathrooms, we had no shower before attending a wedding, ?city/sewer issue?, their 'solution' was simply to tell each of us (separately) as we told them about issues, to go OUTside (40 degrees), up stairs, & all use that same one bathroom, 'just go see if its locked'.....we left @ 9am Sat, supposed to be there til Sun... Our first & last time there... A positive=nice location overlooking the water, lighthouse, walkable to Stearns beach

The woman working at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Restaurant options were less than a mile away. We would definitely stay here again.

Misrepresentation, thought I would have some type of view of lake mi being on lakeshore drive, instead I think I had the only room that had the view of pool fence, bathroom was as small as a camper bathroom, dissatisfied for $260 a night

Great location to downtown Ludington. There’s tons of shopping and a farmers market on Fridays. The hotel sits right by Lake Michigan with an amazing view. Definitely loved this small town and people are friendly

Snyder's has an amazing location and view of the Ludington Lighthouse, Lake Michigan and beach! We had a very large outside patio with chairs surrounded by a white fence, where we enjoyed the beautiful view and sunsets. That being said Snyder's is very old and could stand some remodeling (not sure it ever has been). Any work that has been done has not been of the best quality. The furnishings are serviceable, there is a TV, microwave and fridge. The bathroom needs a remodel and the shower is small and cheaply made, but everything in the bathroom serves its purpose. The room appears to be clean, which is very important and the staff is nice. They were installing new electronic door locks when we were there, which is step in the right direction. Would I go back again?...yes because of the spectacular location and views.

Our first room had some kind of upwelling of water in the bathroom floor from underneath the tiles, and the air conditioner was so loud that when it clicked on and off, we would wake up each time. Very clean otherwise. Front desk staff rude. We decided to stay another day but move to a lakefront room. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t ready, then it wasn’t ready again, then it was ready but their system was down so they *still* couldn’t let us in. We decided to leave and move on with our vacation; they refused a refund (their choice) but got confrontational about the reservation we had made five hours ago. A blonde woman from the office lost ANY chance that we would return here or recommend the place based on that experience. Me: “I’m just really frustrated.” The employee: “Yiou Think I’m not frustrated? I have 22 people to check in.” Sorry, but that was kind of her problem as the guest services representative at a hotel. She made it ours. (The length of this review alone, I hope adequately describes how upsetting this all was. very bad experience) However, cleaning and ground staff were incredibly kind. This location is amazing; it Is half a block from the beach.
