The Mighty Mac
Room had 2 flies in it. Towels were yellowed. Ice was a walk outside to another building. Shower water pressure fluctuated. Did have a gorgeous view and bed was comfortable.

Check in wasn't very pleasant. You will need shoes to get in the water due to stones. Nice they light bonfires every night at 7pm! Breakfast nothing special. Very clean place.

We had a wonderful time. We didn't receive smore bag as promised but the fire pits and view were amazing. Lots of hotels and this one is the only one with the fire pits on private beach. View of bridge is beautiful. Will come again .

We loved our stay here!! From the cozy room, to the extra bed they had in there for my kiddos to the fantastic view of Mackinaw Bridge and the beach bonfire with smores!! Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough nice things about this property. One of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed!! Perfect view of the Mackinac Bridge from the room. We stayed in October, and I bet the property is really something else in the summer.

The ground were beautiful with Hydrangea bushes around all the buildings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the view from our balcony. I would choose to stay here again.

Our room was small. There were spider webs and spiders in the window. The room had poor lighting. The bathroom is in need of an update and the shower was challenging to use. The TV remote only worked periodically. The breakfast was good.

There was a small glitch at check in where the desk clerk said we would have to change rooms on our final night's stay due to the fact that we booked an additional night separately. She did however get everything worked out in the end and we did not have to change room. Very well done and good customer follow up.

Loved our stay here. Nice staff. Comfortable room. Great fire on the beach with s’mores. Good breakfast. Room was great, but if I am being nit picky- the paint needed touch up where they filled in holes from a picture, and the screen door had a hole. This did not bother us…we would go back.

Stayed two nights then added a 3rd. Convenient location if traveling in any direction. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Took advantage of the pool and hot tub. Motel is right on the water and they had a bonfire each night.. Since we purchased the lower priced rooms, we were over the kitchen which had some noise in the morning but not intrusive. I'm sure the rooms in the back of the property at lakeshore were just as good or better! Had an updated TV as well.

This hotel is a nice gem. The front desk receptionist was pleasant yet professional. The room was very clean with updated furniture, carpet is new, the king bed was so comfortable, pillows soft and fluffy. Mr Rolstan made our visit so enjoyable by his personable spirit especially when he lighted the fire pits outside in the evenings, along with provisions for s’mores (those were the biggest marshmallows we’ve ever seen) The only little negative is the internet was very spotty or intermittent. But that can be overlooked when you consider all else that’s available! This is our second stay and we look forward to returning!

Con: The room smelled very musky. The floor didn't appear to have been vacuumed. The TV initially didn't work but was fixed by maintenance. Pro: The staff was very nice. Our TV initially didn't work but they quickly sent someone to fix it. And the front desk staff were also very pleasant when we checked in.

Older facility but well maintained. Extremely courteous staff. Clean, comfy rooms right on their private beach. Beach fires every night. Great view of the bridge & Straits. Would definitely stay here again.
