Conveniently located on Hwy 63, this is a good option if you want to avoid staying in Columbia for football. Staff was very friendly and helpful; the king room was comfortable but DO NOT stay in Room 201 -- the compressor for the sprinkler system runs regularly and makes a terrible racket. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, but Funny Pages Diner down the street is excellent!
We got in our room after midnight and after settling in couldn’t get the tv to work. At $175 for a night and getting in after midnight we wanted the tv to work.
We called down and clerk agreed to move us to another room. When we opened the door to the 2nd room there was a big utility fan. Not a big deal but really inconvenient to have to pack up and move our stuff and go back down to the front desk to get keys. The property is very clean.
They need an elevator or other way to get to the 2nd floor. It was asked for 1st floor when the reservation was made do to bad knees and was put on the 2nd floor and the steps are stright up.
The person at tge front desk couldn't understand or speak English so it was very confusing.
