We all 4 generations from 7-92 years of age and a young golden retriever all had a grand time. We loved the location being in deep water and the dock for the boat was great. The kids loved the dock jumping off and the floating blue mat to play on. The kids enjoyed the pool table too. The Wi-Fi for phones or tv was not great but that was expected. The gravel dirt road down to the house is a little bit challenging with ruts. The only thing that we could complain about was the cleanliness of the downstairs when we arrived and had to clean and vacuum quite a lot of spiders, bugs, pet hair and spiderwebs out till 1am but it’s really deep cleaned now. We washed all beds bedding too just to make sure no bugs, eggs or spiders were in them but one bed sheet set in queen bedroom downstairs was dirty anyway. Come to find out that night while cleaning that a window behind downstairs sofa was pushed out and completely open to the outside critters. Not sure how long it had been that way. We contacted the owners about 9pm the first night while cleaning and Mr Carter came out that night but we asked him to come over the next am about 10. He was very courteous and brought bug spray and had planned on cleaning with a helper but we had done it all the night before. He was very responsive and helpful. After the first night we all had a great time and would definitely love to go back. It was nearby to boat to restaurants and ice cream places. The sunset boating trips and the boating in general was wonderful. We launched our boat at the Eaton Ferry Marina. In Littleton the LG outfitters store and the coffee/deli across the street were really nice and yummy food too. The Food Lion is just down the street from those two places. All in all it was a fun, relaxing and enjoyable place to stay and the area was great.
