Lovely hotel but look out for hidden charges.
It is a beautiful luxurious hotel with a superb spa. Rooms were nice and bedding very comfortable. Grey's restaurant food is average and very limited choice and overhyped but breakfast was excellent. The biggest surprise on checking out was that they charged 10% service charge on the whole bill including the room charge that was prepaid on Hotels.com. There was no warning and left a bitter taste.

A nice hotel, as you would expect for 5-star. However, after paying £450/night for a 2-night stay at this hotel it left a real bitter taste to be presented with a bill for an additional 10% service charge for our stay. This is a distasteful Americanism and profiteering. What are guests paying £450/night for if not the 5-star service?!

Staff here are beyond amazing! Special shout out to Alivia in the Spa. One of the best therapists across the world! Fantastic spa facilities. The most beautiful gardens. Responded well to feedback and went above and beyond in their customer service.

What an amazing hotel. Booked for 60th birthday treat, gave me a lovely cake and candle in the room! Extremely clean, lovely room, excellent spa. Charcuterie in the evening was an added bonus, excellent. Would definitely recommend and book again

Had the best stay, loved the spa, great service, very clean, i keep thinking about the amazing brownie and cheeses they served on the antipasti board. Bed was super comfy, very peaceful room. Downside was the room was boiling even though we turned the radiator off at 6.30pm and in contrast the large steam room and infra red rooms in the spa were a bit cold. These minor issues are just minor and im already planning when i can return again as 1 night wasnt enough

What dreams are made of!
Fantastic Anniversary stay. The staff were all absolutely wonderful which really enhanced our experience at this beautiful countryside hotel. The grounds are breath-taking we simply could not fault the hotel!
