I reserved this place through Expedia when I did my search I searched Salem Oregon and the reservation was made for sale NH. wrong hotel and state. When I called to have my reservation changed I was told to contact expedia by the hotel, when I contacted expedia I was told to contact the hotel. I had to make reservation at a different hotel last minute because not expedia or the hotel where able to help. I am now waiting to get my money reinbursed.

I was pleasantly surprised my room didn't smell like an ashtray given everyone there was smoking directly outside of their doors on this smoke free property. But the bathtub had a lot of staining, the floor in the bathroom wasn't swept and there were splatter marks on the walls...

We checked in around 12:30 am after a long drive. We were placed in a room directly next to an alcove/hall area outside filled with people drinking, smoking, and playing loud music.. when i politely asked them to quiet down, they did, but I highly doubt hotel management wasn’t aware of the situation. The room smelled like stale cigarettes and urine. The ceiling was gross and falling apart. The shower pressure was horrible, water was barely hot, and the water didn’t even look clear. The only reason we stayed is because it was really late and we were too tired to try to find a new hotel. I have no idea how this hotel has the rating it does. The only positive thing I can say is that the air conditioning worked and there weren’t any bugs.

Beds really small and sheets smelled like pee. Towels in bathroom were dirty!!! Tiny coffee machine didnt have pot so couldnt even make coffee (not that I would because probably dont wash that either). There is a holiday inn and LaQuinta next to Red Roof I will stay at next time as we had better experiences there.
