The Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The grounds could have been kept up better.

Unfortunately, we will not be booking with this hotel again. We tried to keep our money local on the island and not book with a chain hotel however this “resort” was anything but. Water poured out of the shower onto the floor. The bathmat we were provided was no match for this. We had to use several towels to soak up the mess and I slipped coming out of the shower. This is an extreme safety issue! There is no place to put your items in the shower. I had to step out of it every time I wanted my shampoo, etc. The shower handle pieces were coming off the wall as well. The grounds around the hotel are extremely rundown. It does not seem to look like a gardener has seen to it in a long time. Tennis courts were unusable as the nets were down in n the ground. The pool are was rundown. The concrete around the pool area was falling apart and chipping off and we never once saw any one at the bar. I felt unsafe just walking around the pool area. There didn’t seem to be anyone at the point bar either. We left in the evening to find dinner and had a hard time coming back as the sign for the hotel was blinking on and off. No curb appeal whatsoever. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of care that the current owner is taking into his or her hotel situation, we will not book here again. What frustrates me is that we were charged over $160 for “Resort” Fees, resort amenities that we didn’t even get to use! This is a no go do not book this hotel!

Great time at Banana Bay, only reason 4 not 5 stars is that the pool closes as dusk, would have been nice to be able to enjoy the hot tub at night, but understandable as it is for safety reasons. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The staff were super friendly. Would absolutely stay here again.

Did not like the shower at all. Water got all over the fllo and did not like the shower head. The pool needs a lot of work. Other than that everything else was fine.
