Great place, 2nd time staying there, the only thing they need to do is get more help at the desk for checking into your room, staff was awesome and friendly but they have only 1 employee working and trying to manage the gas station/convenience store customers and checking in rooms at the same time. Other then that, Great place!

Log cabin look awesome, casino next to the lodge and steak house restaurant right across the street and gas station attached to Lodge with convenience store, rooms very clean spacious large hot tub staff very helpful and friendly, Nice breakfast with lots to choose from would definietly stay here again Steve & Vicki Weber

It was just ok!
It was ok, beds need to be changed old mattress, so very uncomfortable! Toilets were very small, pre schools have taller toilets!

Great stay! We had several rooms with 8 guests staying for 3 days. All rooms & room types were quite spacious, very clean & comfortable! Plenty of comfortable space for our party's bride to get ready for her big day! Staff was EXTREMELY friendly, welcoming & went way above & beyond to accommodate our needs! This place was GREAT! Was our 1st stay in AuTrain/Christmas area & it did not disappoint! Our entire family has agreed that this area (and this motel, if available) will be our new, twice yearly get-together spot! Quieter & less people/traffic in busy seasons, than Munising or Marquette which we will still visit as they're both beautiful! Attached convenience store & gas station provided all we needed! Great steak house with great service right across the road, too! Thank you, to the staff at White Pine Lodge, for a wonderful stay!

Nothing unique. We were greated by a rude front desk person while trying to check in early. The parking lot was empty, but she wouldn't let us check in an hour early. She was quite jovial with the white woman before us, then she seen us and her demeanor changed 180. We thought she was just having a bad day, but every encounter with her was the same. We will not be staying here again.

Great little lodge
Clean comfy room. Breakfast was great. Friendly helpful staff. Hot tub was a little dirty on the sides but smelled like appropriate chemicals and the water was clear. Love it being attached to the gas station. Super convenient. Overall great experience. Would stay again.

We always stay at the White Pine Lodge when in the Munising area. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable and they have a microwave and a good sized fridge. The breakfast is good and there is a great restaurant right across the street for dinner and lunch if needed.

I liked it was right across the street from the ocean. There is a casino next door. Convenience store attached to the hotel. Nice restaurant across the street and another just down the road. Only 4 miles from Munising.
