Other than the sound of footsteps coming from above floors for hours in the middle of the night, the hotel was fine. We called the front office to complain, but the second night was just as bad. Complained at checkout, however, the different clerk had no knowledge/notes and didn’t seem to care.

I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and was visiting due to a family members healthy. The Valley is known for a proud tradition of friendliness and pride in the work done. This hotel does not live up to that. The drawers in the room were filthy, as was the entire air conditioner making it hard to cool the room evenly. There were cobwebs in corners and the tub had huge growths of mildew. If I had to assume it would be the hotel is short staffed; cleaning crew to the front desk. I wouldn’t waste the money when there are much nicer hotels I found in the same area.
