It was a beautiful property with a good view, but our air conditioner did not work for our entire stay (4 nights). I kept reaching out to our hosts to have someone take a look at it. After reaching out five times between the hotel itself and Miami Reservations, we eventually gave up and our hosts never offered us another room to stay. It is highly frustrating to pay good money for a nice vacation only to be terribly uncomfortable the entire time. On top of that, the garbage disposal did not work, but we did not have any more patience to even reach out about it.

Good location, pools enjoyable, good valet service. The maintenance was extremely bad for a few years old building. The condition of our unit was awful (not cleaned, AC not working, every doors damaged, every walls damaged and scratched, water flow extremely low ...). No towels available by the pools, sunbeds damaged, not restaurant nor place for breakfast, you are proposed to go to the DoubleTree next door, and orders by the pool are also coming from the hotel next door .... We were previously at the Hyde Resort & Residences (right in front of this property) and it is a totally different experience. Hyde Beach House is definitely not recommended.

The place is beautiful but Whatever the price on Expedia is. Double that because of fees. This is not a hotel. It’s an apartment that is managed my a management company. They are rude and demanding. You will get hit with fees on everything. convenience fee. Reservations fee. Credit card processing fee. Management fee. Destination fee. It’s extortion! And you have to cancel your plans and meet with them on their time to sign all these papers as if you are closing on a house. Never again!!! Not a fun experience.

Only negative experience was the elevators, waiting over an hour to get an elevator that wasn’t completely full and then it stopped on nearly every floor from floor 43 down to get down to the lobby....it was terrible.

Horrible Stay!
Our unit was rented via Miami Reservations which are unprofessional and horrible. Check in took almost one hour. Javier had to go check our unit before doing the check in, felt like I was doing a timeshare. Nicole was rude and unprofessional when I stated I had never had a check in process like this she immediately wanted to cancel my reservation. Glad all our convos are in text which seemed odd but glad it worked out that way. Javier checks me in has me sign a bunch of docs which you don’t get copies of either the paperwork was rushed and they wanted a cash security deposit. I’ve never heard of that! He showed me the unit and it was filthy fridge and freezer were disgusting, floors not swept or mopped, and bed linens were dirty. I mentioned it to him and he stated to call the front desk so I did. I decided to enjoy what was suppose to be a peaceful anniversary trip and not deal with Nicole that day and told her to have her manager call me. I am yet to get a call from him. They came to clean 2.5hrs later but according to nicole they went up there 5 minutes later. Needless to say our trip started off horrible. To add insult to injury I checked out Monday morning but on Tuesday morning Nicole starts to harass me accusing us of damaging a tv stand that we never touched. We supposedly scratch it then we broke it. Anyhow we didn’t damage it and leads me to conclude that’s why they want people to do cash deposits. Beware pretend you are renting a car and take pics of everything
