It was very clean. People at the front desk were nice. Overall it was good. As we were eating breakfast we could hear the staff in the back complaining and cussing so that was a turn off. Beds were not very comfortable but overall no major complaints
We were coming from New York and we were using a GPS to find the hotel. It kept taking us to a dead end so we drove all around the area looking and finally had to stop at a gas station who told us it's by the dead end, you need to go through a driveway to detour it. There was no sign to take a detour to reach the hotel! We were dead tired from traveling from New york and finally got there at 3:15 but was told check in is 4:00 and the room was not ready. We mentioned no sign and the girl (Jennifer) who kept eating a snack out of a bag who just shrugged it off saying the sign must have fallen down. (There was no sign when we looked later.) My husband just wanted to put his head down and they just kept saying just another 10 minutes. At 5:15 we got our room. Short of housekeepers we were told. The fitness room was closed. This property and staff were just not up to the standards of your other properties we stayed at. In the end, the manager knocked off $25.00, but money doesn't buy everything! Some if it was beyond their control and most of it was not.
It was just okay. Actually being a Hilton property at the price point it was I was disappointed. Gym broken, ice machine on our fooor broken, pool closed most of the trip, and only 1 person on staff at a time could not keep up with cleaning and demands of the guests by themselves. Breakfast was excellent though
We have been staying at Hampton Inn all over the country. But this one was not up to the normal standard for Hampton Inn.
The big problem was the insolation of the flooring. The noise of the room above us was constant. We woke up around 5:00am each day due to the constant noise.
The second problem was the breakfast:
The orange juice taste awful;
The fruits in the platter must be spoiled as it had really bad odor;
The yogurt was warm, I don't know how long they had been left out of the refrigerator.
We won't go back for sure.
We booked two rooms for three nights. On the first night, there were people running up and down the hallway, banging on each other’s doors and hollering until almost 3:00 am. The second night went well. On the third night, the guest next two me had a large dog - with a large dog bark - that barked off and on through the night. The dog began barking at 6 am and barked continually….well is still barking at almost 7 am. I had intended to sleep well before our drive home today.
