I have never not stayed at a hotel after making a reservation. I took a loss on this one. There was no way I was staying after finding a dead spider in the bed. No clue how this place has the rating it does.

The pool was full of mold on the plastic separation between the indoor and the outdoor pool, the indoor pool smelled and reeked of chlorine, the beds were lumpy, and our hips hurt when we woke up, the bathtub had Black mold in the corners and mold around the actual handheld shower, The breakfast eggs made our lips feel like they had motor oil on them. Overall, dirty place, and not well taken care of.

The hotel was a short drive to Milwaukee where we had concert tickets. Very clean and the staff was very nice. A bit disappointed that the hot tub was not available, but overall, it was a lovely stay. Would stay here again!

Not a bad visit by any means, but possibly a little overpriced considering it is outdated and nothing was above and beyond. The staff was friendly enough, though not outgoing. The breakfast was fairly mid but at least they offered it so I am grateful for that. The whirlpool was out of order which was a little sad but the pool was open. Overall, an alright stay, but the price doesn't reflect the quality.

The hotel manager claims that reservations should have a 5% resorts fee. There is not mention of this on the Hotels.com App in any of the fine print. They hand write the additional fee on the already paid invoice from Hotels.com. The manager pointed to a 5% cancelation cleaning fee in an attempt to justify the additional charge. When challenged on the subject the manager then blames the fee not being on the invoice due to not having a steady sales rep from Hotels.com or Expedia. I would never stay at this hotel again. They are clearly trying to take advantage of customers.
