If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Great location and perfect home

We had a great time, the location is perfect, the beach is amazing. AC works perfect, all the rooms with TVs, you can leave all your beach stuffs outside the entire night. The pool in the community is perfect for refreshing when returning from the beach.

Lots of stairs, but lovely

We were very impressed when we asked the rental company for a mattress topper for the master bed because the bed was very hard. They quickly brought one over and even put it on the bed. We would suggest getting different toss cushions on the couch, the ones that were there were feather and we constantly had feathers all over the living room plus having a mild allergy to them, I was sneezing all the time until I put them in a closet while were there. These were minor issues that were easily resolved. Our biggest issue was that we wanted to surprise our granddaughters who were joining us for a week with their favorite homemade pizza. It was a big letdown when we went to put them in the oven and discovered that there wasn’t a bottom bake element in the stove, only the broil one. Believe me, broiled pizza is not very palatable. Nice great location and service

The townhouse was nice...but had a few challenges such as the bed in master not comfortable and footboard fell off in the middle of the night. Very poor water pressure in master bath along with a few other minor quirks. Real Joy management (nice to work with) was quick to send maintenance out to correct issues and they did for the most part with major exception was the bed in master....they might need to replace?

PERFECT STAY

We have came to Destin every year with our 3 small children this condo has been the best so far!!! Perfect space and room for all of us. Clean, so cute! Very close walk to the beach! There are beach toys available in the condo, your own parking. It is quiet and peaceful. We loved it here and will stay again next year!! Highly recommend. 10 out of 10. The one con would be the stairs with littles but there were gates available in the condo. Overall it was amazing!!!

Second Stay

This is now our second stay at Costa Vista #7. We love it here, we walk to Pompano Joe’s and Frozen Dunes daily. The beach is easy access and the condo is ideal for a family.

Great location, poor communication

This property is great for families who want excellent access to the beach. The kitchen and family-room were nice for cooking and dining in. Bedrooms were/are as advertised. When we arrived, our condo’s balconies were under construction. One of the reasons we chose this location was that it had two balconies. We were unable to even open the door to get air /a breeze due to the construction. Furthermore, when I reached out to the property manager(s) and/or their office, no one gave any kind of explanation about the construction. I contacted the property manager’s office everyday and did not receive any resolution until after I had checked out and was returning home. That being said, when the property manager did contact me, they were apoplectic and offered compensation for the lack of access to the balconies. Overall I would recommend this property only due to the proximity, however there are several similar if not better properties in the exact same area to chose from.

We had a great time at this condo!! Loved the parking and that there was a hose outside our condo. The beach was a 1 minute walk and access was awesome. We did not have to deal with parking!!! Great condo would definitely stay again!!

We’ve stayed in Miramar a few years now and this is our most favorite spot so far. The separation from living and sleeping space is perfect. The location is perfect as well. We have small children and the walk to the beach was super easy. We will definitely book again.

Close to the beach

This is a great place to stay. It's close to the beach so made it easy to access. The property is small; pool is really small and we never got in due to crowded with mainly kids. There was no grill on the property so that was a bummer since we like to cookout. Wish there was a cart to carry stuff to the beach. Overall, it was very clean and well kept.

Great location!

For the most part, great condo! I typically don’t have anything negative to say, but there are a few things I want to warn others about. 1) master bed is hard and you’ll want to bring your own pillows 2) if you plan on cooking bring dish towels and rags, salt & pepper, coffee filters…basic things like that are not provided.

Nice home away from home

The property is in a good location very close to public beach access. However, keep in mind that the road is very busy bc it is one of few that connect 98 to scenic for beach access. The property is very clean. Beds are firm, may want to consider a mattress topper. Pool is small with only 4/5 lounge chairs and a single table. It can get easily crowded but good for a dip. Doesn’t look like anyone cleans up or empties the garbage during the week. Ultimately we really enjoyed our time at this location and would recommend it to others.

Great location for beach access

We enjoyed our stay very much and loved Miramar Beach. The townhome is nice although it could use one more comfy chair in the living room. The place was pretty much what we expected, but the slider off the master bedroom (with a semi-private balcony) does not lock and has no "bar" lock either so that was a bit of a concern. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

We arrived on Wednesday night. Hurricane Sally had made landfall that morning. We did not have power when we arrived but that is understandable with the circumstances. The location of the townhome is superb. Right across from the beach and Pompano Joes. The floor in the townhome was very gritty when we arrived and if you didn’t wear shoes your feet would be dirty. When we reclined the sofa we were able to see under the couch and it was very nasty (trash, dust, etc.) With all of that being said we did have a great time and enjoyed our stay. The unit just could have been a little more clean.
