Perfect Christmas Getaway
The location is perfect! We walked to the beach and to the other side of the resort for breakfast. My husband was in heaven playing the 3 courses in the resort. The condo is clean and comfy and the view is great! We enjoyed watching the heron, pelicans and ducks in the pond. The golf cart was perfect for driving to the beach to watch the sunset and getting around the resort. Very fun stay!

Great location!
Unit was clean and convenient for the area, right by the pool so its a quick couple steps away. The golf cart makes getting to the beach access and the warf area really easy. Short drive right down the road either direction to stores and restaurants.

Great Getaway!
Nice property. Comfortable and well laid out. We did have a few issues, but property management was quick to respond and help us get those solved. Golf cart was a wonderful treat to get to the beach and the kids loved driving all around the resort on it. Would note next time that the exterior light needs to stay on to charge golf cart. Even though it was plugged in, it was not charging overnight so no golf cart for the second day we were there. :(

We enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved the location. It was great that the pool was very close. I feel like there could have been more attention to the cleaning of the property. But the person in the Property Management office was super helpful and got it worked out for us. Overall, a beautiful place!!

We enjoyed our stay and were thankful for the golf cart. The beach was a little further than expected and very crowded for spring break. It was nice to be able to explore the Sandestin beach and golf resort including Baytown Wharf.

Location was perfect. Close to the beach and right next to the pool. Unit was great for our stay but it needs a little TLC. The pint is peeling on several doors, transition strip was broken going into the master bathroom. The patio door was almost impossible to slide (I attempted to adjust the rollers), and the master bathroom tub drain was clogged with hair (I cleared the clog). We would definitely come back again even with these issues.

Great Location, Decent Unit
Amazing location where you can take the golf cart anywhere you really need (Publix, restaurants, beach, etc). AC worked great during hot summer days. Appears the unit has had some good recent upgrades that you'll notice in the photos, but still a little rough around the edges regarding cleanliness and upkeep. Door handle/key code was a little tricky to operate (little loose too). The beach items provided (umbrella, chairs) are in need of being replaced or removed since they are all rusted/in bad condition so we did not use them during our stay. Golf cart registration tag expired in Dec 2021 (almost 9 months ago) so Sandestin guard shacks can and may give you issues (they did to us). Brought this to the attention of the management company, but I was completely ignored, then they reminded me about my check out time (that's a terrible customer experience btw). Shower curtain in master bath had discoloration/soap scum so bad that we replaced it with the one from the guest bathroom (both really need to be replaced).

This property was on the beachside, which made it convenient for accessing the stuff to do there, and I could still get back easily to the bay side of the property for meetings. The golf cart was a game changer.

Quiet, spacious and clean
My family came down to FL for spring break. It was really nice unit. We were only 3 pp, but easily could accommodate a larger crowd. Loved to golf cart for ease of getting all around the resort. We did not mind not being on the beach, as the golf cart allowed us to explore all over the resort. The pond behind was nice and peaceful. Decoration is a little dated, but the unit had all the amenities we needed.

Great Stay with a few problems, did not notice time difference. Stove is very old, heat eyes were not level at all. Master bath is very small. Beach chairs and other items are so dirty and rusted we could not use. Had to buy those items.

We had SO MUCH FUN!!
We four totally enjoyed our stay. Impeccably clean property, with a gorgeous view of the lake. Very comfortable beds, too! Fully-equipped kitchen and beautiful walkways and wonderful golf cart to use, as well---that was a plus to get to the beach. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We arrived to the property on Saturday. Immediately tried to find the golf cart and it was no where to be found. We called My vacation haven and they had us walk around the entire area looking for it because it was for sure there.. it was not because it was in repair and they had no idea.. told us we would not be getting a replacement.. we rent based off of the golf cart and were extremely upset.. they eventually on the fourth day of our trip told us we could come to their office and sign an agreement so that they could deliver us one.. but we were fed up with them and did not want to leave the beach to go to their office on our vacation!!! I will give them credit they refunded our money for the golf cart, but I would have much rather paid for it and had one. The neighbors were nice. Very convient to the pool. The TV was nice. The condo had a terrible back porch maybe 20 feet and then you step into a lake. Saw multiple snakes..Not very kid friendly. Surrounded by trees and bushes that were not well landscapes very annoying to try and enjoy sitting on porch . Also there was no lighting on back porch complete darkness no bulb in fixture. ( took a special type of bulb) I know how to change a light bulb. There was a lot of good about our trip and we made the best of it and had a great time. But we will not be using my vacation haven again or staying at this room again for sure..

Great condo, decent location
The condo itself was exactly as described in the listing. It is very spacious and in a gorgeous setting. The pool is literally right outside your door which was incredibly convenient and noise (from the pool) was never a problem. The shopping center being in walking distance was nice as their was a Ben and Jerry's as well as a Maple Street Biscuit Co! The negative was it is not close to the beach and is not a 5 minute walk. It is closer to a 15 minute walk which is not doable if you have a family carrying a cooler, beach bag, beach toys/chairs...etc. This wasn't the end of the world for us as it's an easy drive to the beach with plenty of parking. Consider going to another beach however as the public beach closest to the condo was crazy busy (in July). All in all, we had a great time though!
