Tropical Paradise is an adorable home in popular and beautiful Beach Retreat Cottage community. Two-story, three bedroom/three bath beach cottage with oversize wraparound balconies sleeps 10 people. Located in a gated community with pool, hot tub and gym, just yards from private beach access to the sugar white sands and emerald Gulf waters. Community pool is heated during Thanksgiving week, Christmas week and for Spring Break!

Located along one of the most desirable beaches in the nation, Beach Retreat is a family-oriented beach community located on Scenic Gulf Highway and in the heart of beautiful Destin, where the sand is like sugar and Gulf waters are clear and emerald green. Beach Retreat is centrally located to all of Destin's wonderful restaurants, water sports and activities, including Silver Sands outlet mall, Sandestin and Baytowne Wharf, Destin Commons, Big Kahuna's Waterpark, The Track, upscale shopping, casual and fine dining, movie theaters and beautiful golf courses. Restaurants within walking distance of the cottage include Crab Trap, Pompano Joe's, Whales Tail and Captain Dave's.

First Floor: On the first floor of the home is a beautifully furnished living room and a kitchen with quality appliances and granite counter tops. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook as if you were at home, and the large dining table provides plenty of room to serve a big meal. Additional seating is available at the eat-in bar. Also on the first floor is the first of two master bedrooms with a King-sized bed and flat-screen TV with DVD, attached to a full bath with double vanities. A full-size washer and dryer are located downstairs.

Second Floor: On the second floor is a second master bedroom with a King-sized bed and flat-screen TV with DVD, plus an adjoining bath with a whirlpool tub and separate shower. The second-floor master also offers access to the wraparound balcony so you can enjoy a nightcap on the balcony before you slip between the sheets. The third bedroom is also on the second floor and it has a king bed as well as a twin/twin bunkbed. It also has a TV and DVD player, and opens to the backside of the wraparound balcony.

Beach Retreat: Located along one of the most desirable beaches in the nation, Beach Retreat is a family-oriented beach community located on Scenic Gulf Highway and in the heart of beautiful Destin. We offer our guests 300 feet of private beach for Beach Retreat owners and their rental guests only, with umbrella and chair rentals available. Facilities for showering off the sand when returning from the beach are conveniently located at the entrances to the community and the swimming pool. Guests will also enjoy the large swimming pool which includes a hot tub, fountains and lush landscaping. Chaise lounges, tables and chairs are provided for your comfort, and restrooms are located at the pool for use by vacationers and their guests. is located near the pool (with a separate enclosure for the safety of small children) so you have the option to grill your own meals. Our house is only yards from the pool so you can easily carry your food and supplies to and from the pool

Cozy Beach Cove

Wonderful Beach home nestled in a quiet cove just across the street from ocean. Plenty of space for our 2 family vacation with a separate room for the kids. Cove is well maintained with landscaping and brick roads to give that luxury-feel.

Great Stay

Our stay was wonderful! Getting into the property and cottage was easy. The beach is just a short walk. There is a Dollar General and several restaurants within minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

Family/Friends Beach Vacation

Loved this location and rental. This was our 3rd summer in a row traveling to Destin area. This was the best location for our family. Short walk to beach and shorter walk to pool. Loved the quiet street and parking a few feet outside our door. Kids rode bikes and parents rode scooters on the private cul-de-sac. Will be staying again next summer.

Great for families

The house was nice and spacious. We had 5 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of room. The kitchen had anything you might need. Pool was great. Short walk to the beach. The only thing we found was that the coffee pot did not work. Other than that, everything was great.

Our cottage was charming and very clean. Although the cottages in the area were close together, it was quiet and other guests were friendly. Nice pool. Beautiful, uncrowded beach less than a block away. Kathy, our host, quickly helped with a few questions we had on arrival. Everyone in our family enjoyed our time here.

First time to Destin

This was also our first family beach trip in 15 years. The house was perfect. Great location, roomy, had tons of kitchen stuff (pots, pans, dishes, utensils, even a blender though we didn’t use it). I noticed from the online pics there was only had a regular coffee maker so we brought our keurig. It is also a very safe area. Went on a run everyday. Grocery store, restaurant, and retail stores close by also. We will definitely stay in this same unit on our next trip.

We had the best time at this property. The kitchen was by far the best stocked with everything you need to make a meal. Everyone had their own space and each bedroom had a bathroom. We will be back!

Great house & location for a beach getaway!

Wonderful house located in a gated community and just a short walk to the beach. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was clean, kitchen had all the necessary utensils and we had lots of room to relax. The community pool was nice and just a short walk, too. Would highly recommend this home for your next beach trip!

Amazing location, great communication

We returned to Beach Retreat the 2nd time in 6 months. Location is great. House was spacious, clean and well equipped. Kathy was great to communicate with. Had a minor problem with the lock which she responded to immediately, resolving the issues. We would have loved to sit outside on the first floor but only had one chair, my elderly parents cannot do the stairs to the balcony. The association needs to address the cleanliness of the hot tub. The filter did not seem to work. It did not really clean the water as it was turning green. Same problem we had in November. Overall, great stay!
