We stayed on the second story of the building, there was no elevator and no one to help bring our luggage up to our rooms. They had luggage carts that of course cannot go upstairs, We had large suitcases and lots of luggage, we were a group of 6. The windows are not soundproof and our room was next to the pool. Loud children playing in the pool. So I would never had stayed there if I had known there was no elevator. The stairs were outside and wet because it was raining.

Excellent welcome. We have stayed here over numerous years. We like it’s motor lodge convenience paired with traditional hotel comforts. Disappointingly this MOTEL style hotel, now charges for parking. Proximity to Carmel village without the hassles.

The front desk staff was really gracious and polite. I loved the lobby area, too. I found the room clean and spacious. The location was great. I'd stay here again and would like to try the restaurant next time.
