The room itself was clean. We booked for two queen size beds but I can say the bed size was smaller than queen. If you have big SUV car you will have problem to enter to the parking.

It was meant as a couple get away, but our 18yr old daughter ended up coming at the last minute. That lead to a complication worth room availability, but they were as accommodating as they could be. The area had some homeless/drug use, but was close to the metro station and conveniently located in the city.

Recommended for very good value. While it’s in a gritty location (literally down an alley), and the parking a little suspect-looking, it’s all safe and the interior of the hotel is clean and decent. Staff is very helpful, and good people! Nice kitchenette in our standard double. There was an A/C that was loud and turning on-off that was great. But the positives, including close to transit, make it a solid overall choice. Enjoy your stay in Montréal!

Parking garage nightmare and homeless people
The hotel room was not what I was expecting at all. It was outdated but clean. Queen bed felt more like a double. Window air conditioner in room. Elevators were a bit old and scuzzy and didn’t even lead down to parking garage which was a nightmare!! There was almost a 90 degree hill to go down and very windy all the way down to a scary 3 levels down. Going up was even worse! Had to climb 3 levels of stairs to get to road level so recommend taking your luggage to your room first. There was quite a few homeless people roaming the front of the hotel and I didn’t really feel safe returning after being out past midnight. The front desk staff were friendly, and the free breakfast in the morning was appreciated but all in all, I would not stay again. It was over priced for the condition of the hotel area it was in. I really wanted to ask for a refund but I sucked it up as I was only staying one night. If you don’t mind a simple, outdated, apartment style small room, then it would probably be fine for you.

I am SO glad that I have recently booked our room at this hotel. It is conveniently located since the Metro is not even a block away. Same with the supermarket. We had no problem walking to the Old Montreal or to Chinatown. The hotel has a parking but it’s not included. We parked at a nearby parking suggested by the hotel and again this was a block away. I would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

The room was spacious and it had a kitchen plus the breakfast was very good. I also the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed the hotel was walking distance to Montreal waterfront and restaurants. The only thing i did not like was TV selections. they should have more movie channels.
