good location, adequate rooms

Pros: Bathroom, location, bed.
Cons: Smell, temperature.
Location: 10 mins walk to Central Station
The hotel is what you pay for, a good price in the centre of Amsterdam. A bit tatty, but good enough. The room smelled strongly of bleach/swimming pools, which was off putting. And it was cold, although I was able to warm it up with the air/con heating system after much trial and error of how to work it. The bathroom was very large, clean and modern. It had two showers which was kind of overkill! The windows looked out onto a blank wall and between the windows and the wall was a load of scaffolding with platforms above and below, blocking out almost all natural light. But then again, I was only there for one night and just to sleep so it didn't matter. The bed was comfortable. I didn't have time for breakfast in the morning so don't know what it was like. 8 Euro is very cheap though, so I imagine that it's like the rest of the hotel - does the job but nothing special.

If you are looking for a hotel where you would stay 1 to max 2 nights its „okay-ish“ option… Just dont expect to much… Hotel rooms are basic, they try to keep it tidy and clean, but there is alot (and i really mean alot) of space to improve. The only positive about this hotel is the location, but since Amsterdam is a small city i would not book it again, or recommend anyone to stay there…

Top Lage. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Leider ab und zu ein wenig zu kalt im Zimmer. Bekamen aber von der Rezeption einen kleine Heizstrahler. Ansonsten alles super!

Es war sehr laut und kalt, die Heizung hat nicht funktuoniert und es waren Reparaturarbeiten im gange, Sonntags und 8.30 Uhr wurde vor unserem Zimmer mit einer Trennscheibe gearbeitet...
