I recently stayed at the Hotel Cordial during my trip to Amsterdam and had a fantastic experience. The hotel offered everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Amsterdam, just a short walk from Dam Square. I could easily explore the city on foot. The combination of its central location, friendly staff, and comfortable amenities made it an ideal choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Great Location, Friendly Staff, but Small Rooms I recently stayed at this hotel in Amsterdam and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic—conveniently situated near key attractions and easy access to public transport. The hotel was clean, and the reception staff were incredibly nice and helpful throughout my stay. However, I found the room to be quite small, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. Additionally, there was no kettle or facilities to make tea or coffee in the room, which was a bit of an inconvenience. If you're looking for a well-located, clean hotel, this is a good option, but be prepared for limited space in the rooms.

This place is such a terrible hotel. The state of it was one thing but the staff rudeness was another. Especially by the tall Eastern European man with glasses. And the Egyptian one too. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Only good thing was the location and maybe the air on however everything else was a nightmare and I really had to save my sleep for my return back to the uk!

We booked the hotel dispute all the bad reviews thinking it wouldn't be that bad... it was more than disappointing. There were stains and hair on the bed, and the room was a lot smaller than what the pictures showed. We asked if we could get a clean room or clean bedding and got given another room which was okay but still subpar. The room was bigger but had stains on the walls. The house keeping is terrible, they didn't change the bedding or towels once during our entire stay. Don't recommend at all, especially for the price. The location is good but at what cost.

Hotel is in a great location and makes walking around Amsterdam super easy! 10 minute walk from centraal station too. Staff were lovely, although housekeeping arrived at 10am both days so had to be mindful about being up and out! Our room was small but manageable as we only slept in there, shower good, towels provided and wardrobe. Unfortunately, I had a personal item stolen from the room, I had it on the first night and it was there the next morning but after being out for the day the item was gone. We searched high and low for this and it was not inside the room. Whilst searching for this, we did find some cleanliness problems, including black mould, lots of dust, and the worst of all, opened empty condom wrappers under the bed. I appreciate that under the bed may not be checked but not a pleasant thing to find. Overall, I would say this hotel is ok if you are only planning on spending the nights there. Despite the cleanliness problems, we would return as it was convenient.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Across the road is the tram service, down the road is the train station-Centraal. You’re surrounded by shops, things to do, pubs, bars, restaurants, fast food etc. the lift was in full working order. You can leave your bags when you have to check out at 11, until you’re ready to collect and go, so you don’t have to drag your case around with you. Your room is serviced daily, fresh towels, bed made, cleaned, with no pressure to get out the room early for them to complete this. All the staff were pleasant and friendly. There’s a machine with drinks/alcohol etc. and I believe you can get hot drinks however we didn’t use this. Seating area downstairs. The actual room was kept clean, however it appears well used, stains on walls, a little rough and ready but manageable. You can’t open the toilet door fully as the rooms quite small and claustrophobic. But there’s enough space and storage if you’re staying a few days. And you don’t really spend much time in there. The shower has half a payne of glass, and the shower tends to spray all over the floor. I think the windows are single glazing, so the room does get very cold quickly in the evening, even when the weather was in 30’s, however there is air con which is perfect for when your too hot in the day, and heating for the evening. It can be very noisy, with people coming in and out, and from the tram/people passing by on the main road. Perfect if you aren’t too fussy/wanting luxury.
