Overall stay was good close to Shorline Amphitheater. Beds are hard and noisy sounds like theres a plastic underneath fitted sheet, if you’re a light sleeper be prepared to wake up when you move.

I loved this place. I’m a local and I occasionally do hotel stays to work on writing projects. I decided to try The Ameswell this time, since I’d eaten at the bar/restaurant, The Roger. The hotel has a mid-century hipster vibe, with nods to aviation history, since it’s next to Moffat Field. It’s quiet (super important for working on writing projects) and my room was spacious and comfortable. I loved being able to go downstairs and get coffee at the coffee kiosk or pop down to The Roger for happy hour. Already planning my next stay.

Issue with having to order food from the bar then having a waitress deliver it to the table. If you have a waitress delivering the food to the table, why can't she come to the table to take the order? Also had an issue with the female bartender w/ an accent. Was not friendly (borderline rude). The live music was a good addition. Last time we stayed there, there was no live music.

A quiet and clean hote. Worked great for us and our event at Shoreline. Restaurant, coffee shop and grounds were just right. I was bummed to have to pay for overnight parking though. The hotel is in its own compound area, so no street parking was available. Parking should be included for guests!
