Nothing like the advertisement. Dead and alive roaches. Stale and mildew scent. Pool and Jacuzzi area was filthy. Towels were very hard. I wouldn't recommend this place for a dog.

Was in town visiting from FL. Was kind of skeptical staying at The Palette Resort Myrtle Beach based of reviews. There are other hotels also, bear this one. Do, it can be confusing on picking a hotel for your stay. But nice scenery and beach is right behind hotel. A lot stores, things in the area that are in walking distance near by. People are nice and friendly and staff Leslie, Crystal and Shanique was very courteous, nice and fast response to my concerns and matters when it came to the room. I will say the hotel definitely needs a update on renovations, but overall everything was fine and the beach was my favorite part of the trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

A decent hotel
The staff at palette resort are very friendly. They made sure we were comfortable with our room and let us move rooms when a problem arose. We were unable to lock our deadbolt on the door in 308. But they apologized and changed our room without hesitation. The rooms were clean and decorated nicely. The bed was comfortable, and the shower pressure was strong (which is something I've noticed some hotels struggle with). The hotel itself was clean and quiet. The elevators were very fast which was a pleasant surprise. The pools were nice, but the lazy river did have quite a bit of sand and debris at the bottom which could be cleaned. They do make sure the pools have the correct level of chemical treatment. While we were swimming, the pool maintenance came and checked each pool. One thing I would have preferred is the parking to be at the hotel and not across the street, it's still a close walk but it is a little frightening for a female alone at night. Overall we would stay again.

We were very impressed with this resort. When we checked in the staff was extremely nice. The lady that checked us in was very sweet and gave us all the information we would need. They have handicapped parking under the resort which was great. Our room was very clean and great. I would recommend this resort to others and we will definitely stay here again.

I did not end up stayin for my reservations we came in late Friday night the room we booked was not the one we were placed in the room we walked into was nasty greasy fingers prints on the microwave nothing was wiped down the stove was not able to be properly opened because it was to close to the door frame i went and talked to the reception and she offered another room in replacement and it was no where near better the ace didnt work and the furniture was dirty i declined to stay and was informed by the receptionist she would make note on the account for a refund due to not staying

Place was absolutely horrible. Dirty, mold on the stair well doors, smelling like a snoop dog concert the whole weekend. There is a homeless person living in the dunes on the beach in front of the property. The pools had tons of sand in them and were dirty looking. The stairs to the beach access were in pieces and unsafe. The bed had two crappy pillows and the most uncomfortable bed ever, the tv worked half the time. The worst part was waking up Sunday morning to a crime scene in the lobby- full on police force investigating an altercation that ended in a stabbing. All in all the worst place I have stayed would never recommend to anyone.
