Had to wait in line to check in over an hour.(5:00pm) The parking for check in is extremely tight while people are checking in and out. Parking deck was ok Room 763 The shower could use some update Hot/cold turn on. Breakfast was excellent every day and the facilities were all nice, clean and kept up. Staff were all very friendly from the front desk and house keeping. Would probably recommend and stay again sometime.

My experience upon arrival was quite unpleasant. My hotel room was completely dirty and very unpleasant. Then they changed my room and it was even more unpleasant. Then they changed me back to the previous room, they cleaned it and put it in good condition. Thanks for the $100 credit. The rest of my vacation was better. The breakfast was very good. The pool, the beach, the jacuzzi and the staff were nice!

The Strand Resort was very good. The pool and the proximity to the beach are perfect. There was plenty of space for one to lounge around and relax. The included breakfast was also a great value. Good job, Strand resort crew!

Great views and right on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Only complaint is elevators were consistently wet and slippery from guests going from beach/pool areas. Rooms were nice and the kitchenette is a plus, free breakfasts were an added bonus.

View is gorgeous but…..

The view is amazing and the amenities are lovely however the girl who checked me in at front desk should NOT work in service industry. She was rude, unhelpful & completely uninformative re how to receive items needed in the room. Additionally, the description of the room was NOT what we were told when making reservations. Housekeeping is not provided on a daily basis and you will need to ask for additional towels. The beds were very comfortable and looked clean. Breakfast was good & bar personnel were so personable. We especially liked being able to get hotel transport to their sister resort…The Breakers. It was a good trip but it needs an overhaul of the front desk personnel.
