I especially liked how nice, clean, and cozy the inn was. We stayed at the carriage house and felt so at home. All the staff were really polite and lovely as well. They also kept our luggage while we were exploring before check-in and after check-out. Pool was very clean. Definitely a top option in the area.

Our stay at Taber Inne

Nice inn with a good location. Walkable distance to the main areas of town and museums. Room was pretty good. No refrigerator or safe.. but there was a jacuzzi tub! Continental breakfast was a little sparse. Just coffee, fruit,and cake. No breads or other drink options. (But I never bothered to ask for something else)

Earlier options for coffee for early risers would have been nice. Coffee in room and maybe a small refrigerator. The mattress in our room was horribly worn!

This was a very pleasant stay for me and my partner. The staff was very polite and helpful, particularly in making suggestions for fun things to do in the area. The location worked very well for us - close enough to the main town to be walkable but far enough away so as not to be overridden with traffic (the Mystic Drawbridge area can get very congested with foot and vehicle traffic). There's a really nice cafe & market right across the street as well, if you want some more coffee and food options. The room was quite clean and comfortable and when we needed fresh towels in the evening (after housekeeping hours had ended) we had no trouble getting them from the staff. Overall we thought it was a nice, quiet experience and would stay there again.

Continental breakfast was delivered to our room. Very impressed with the coffee, I’m very picky about coffee! Room was great though the cleaning stuff they use has a very strong smell, that was the only negative. Jacuzzi was awesome after a long day of work!

The property was minutes from downtown Mystic and a few miles from the Seaport and Aquarium. About 10 miles to the beach. A perfect spot to enjoy the area. The rooms were clean and smelled nice. Breakfast was individually served to enjoy in your room or outside. Loved this option. Staff was so friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Looks closer to the ocean on the website then in reality. Close to town, bed was comfortable and room clean. No shower curtain- which was odd. Delivered breakfast was nothing special and I would pass next time.

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed. Staff/owner is extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a very pleasant, peaceful setting and comfortable. Room is spacious and very clean. As many have mentioned before a mini fridge would be the only thing we missed but had our cooler and could get plenty of ice so we managed Highly recommend this Inn!

Tabor Inn is a great place to stay while visiting Mystic, Ct and surrounding areas. We found it to be centrally located to all the places we intended to visit. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub as well as the indoor swimming pool. We are planning a return in the fall.
