This is an old hotel, probably built in the 70's. The suites in the main building have all be recently updated and are very nice. Hotel is on the Post road in Fairfield. Fairly noisy, but is convenient to Fairfield, Bridgeport, and area. Room is very nice. No elevator to second floor, but staff aggressively offered to help get luggage to second floor. My family really liked the layout of the room.

(1) For a stay of more than a night, a dresser with drawers would be nice. (2) The lamps had clear “shades” with horrible blueish led bulbs, giving everything in the room a ghastly appearance.

On the whole we enjoyed our one night stay. Staff friendly, continental breakfast OK, the Circle Restaurant next door had delicious food. Our room overlooked the pool which at this time of year was closed. might have been a plus on a hot day. A couple of improvements.: The lounge chair in our room was uncomfortably low. Desk chair was fine. The TV was difficult to use. Took awhile to figure out and even then, programming was uneven. At about 9 PM the fire alarm went off in our section of the building. No one from staff came to tell us what was going on. Fire Dept. arrived, turned off the system and all was fine after that
