Close by but a world away from the loud & busy streets of NYC. Easy commute one stop away from the heart of the city by subway or tram. Great sweeping views of NYC from the room I got and the 17th floor bar & terrace. Close to the FDR monument. Free island shuttle.

Great location. View from the Panorama bar is gorgeous. Overall, rooms were extremely overpriced for what you received. Unfortunately, we had stains on our bedsheets from previous tenants. In addition, the food located in the lobby restaurant was quite gross. To which, I believe we were charged more than what was listed on the bill (despite the gratuity being included). I highly suggest seeking alternative food options off the island, although it would be nice to have something more friendly for travellers. Lastly, pool was falsely advertised as being a part of this property, which was the definitive factor in choosing the stay. Hotel staff upon arrival were quite snarky and/or diminutive, almost as if we didn’t belong in the establishment.

Excellent spot on Roosevelt Island. Easy walk to the tram and subway with fantastic views of Manhattan. Front desk could have been more attentive when guests were present, but no complaints about service. James, the parking attendant, is a gem!

Fun Location.
Nice hotel. Staff friendliness was hit and miss. Rooms were small (to be expected in NYC). Missed having a coffee maker in the room (had to go down to the lobby) Island was cool but out of the way!
