The only thing I didn't like was no coffee in the room. I prefer hotels that have a nespresso machine to make quick decent coffee, so one doesnt have to leave their room when they first wake up just to get coffee, that is inconvenient. Pestana Hotels do have that.

The staff were very friendly and nice, The hotel was insanely expensive and really not good value for money. Five star prices for a four star hotel. The gym was very small and without windows.

Well-located. Functional. Nothing majorly dirty but didn't feel the cleanest. Carpet in hallways doesn't fit and is stained. Bathroom is a decent size for an NYC hotel. Normal NYC noise level at night.

Wonderful location and stay
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Great location and wonderful staff. Valet park person was terrific and so was the concierge person. We will definitely choose this hotel again. Spacious room, comfy beds, clean and well maintained.

Polite snd attentive staff, convenient location, clean room. Only criticism is that there is not much variety/options for in room dining, I had to order deliveries. I would have liked to order from the great restaurant they have on their premises but there were only 3 plates to pick from. Overall, it was a nice stay!

Hotels.com hotels are not good any more
The room was like a cell with windows tinted so you cant see the light outside. The door to the bathroom (barn door) would not close or stay closed. The Ac/ heater was not working either too cold or boiling hot even after they fixed it. Dirty carpets. Breakfast in the restaurant was overpriced and awful. Coffee was disgusting. The guys who helped with suitcases were nice and helpful. Location was very inconvenient no restaurants or coffee shops in walking distance. You need to walk for a long time or grab a cab to go any where to shop or eat. Will not be back!

We had to change the room 3 times, it was small, the bathroom needs to be improve imediately, the door doesn't close, the sink was small and did not drain properly. The staff was helpfully but they couldn't do much. The room service only had like 5 options im the menu. I won't stay there again.

Don't leave without checking your bill!
The rooms are clean but very small. The biggest drawback was at checkout. The hotel added a $500 smoking fee without a word that they were doing it. Luckily I checked my receipt, and was very upset since I don't smoke. The hotel would not accept my statement and resisted getting the manager. The manager was not helpful until I insisted that she take off the charge. Everyone told us they could not do it. She finally checked the room and the mysterious device and told me I was right and the charge would be taken off. This was very difficult at checkout since our ride was arriving . I would not recommend this hotel, and I would definitely advise checking your bill at checkout if you decide to stay. They used Hotels.com as an excuse that nothing could be done because of a third party involvement.
