Found 4 hairs in my bed, obviously not mine since they were long (i have short hair) and was in the room alone. Just gross. Also it’s so obviously a converted old motel, just minimal cosmetic changes.

Wayfinder is perfectly adequate. It is clean. We had what we needed for a short stay. Fitness center is very limited. Staff was adequate but not overly friendly.

Loved the Wayfinder Newport!!!

My family and I had an incredible experience at the Wayfinder Newport! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The check-in process was seamless, and I was offered a a free room upgrade for my parents which was great! My parents absolutely loved the room as it was the exact type of accessible room that they were looking for. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated with modern yet cozy touches. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and my family and I appreciated the complimentary bottled water. My parents absolutely loved,loved,loved the waterfront views!! The service throughout our stay was top-notch. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and always eager to help. The hotel is located in a prime area, just a short drive to and from the Navy base, beach and local attractions. It was easy to explore the nearby shops and restaurants, and I felt like I was right in the heart of everything.

Great stay!

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel especially after reading some negative reviews about the rooms. Our room was newly renovated, a new rug in the hallway, laminate flooring in our room, and an updated bathroom, along with bedding and furniture. It was also very clean. The hallways are dimly lit as mentioned in other reviews and it was a bit of a maze to get to our room. But overall we were very pleased with our stay and especially appreciated the complimentary cocktail! The staff was also very friendly.
