Absolutely great and Dailey transport to the private beach area was a fantastic bonus we did not know about. If returning to Nusa Dua would go to same hotel. Staff were amazing.

The property was generally good but restaurant wasnt very good. We ate elsewhere. Pool side Lounges and chairs on the balcony didn’t have cushions. Which made them uncomfortable if you wanted to sit for a while. Small things that make a difference. People kept reserving pool lounges but weren’t using them which was frustrating when there were people who wanted a Lou he but there weren’t any free.

The staff were fantastic extremely friendly courteous and helpful. Our accommodation was extremely clean and huge. Loved all the Balinese fixtures and fittings. Bed extremely comfy. Would love to come back again. Private beach and free shuttle service excellent. Absolutely loved bathroom.

My second visit to the Grand Bali although it’s been 10 years apart. The property is really showing signs of ageing and needs a thorough update. No wash cloths in the bathroom on arrival. Asked reception but was told they don’t supply them anymore??? Phone system in all the rooms were “out of order” the entire stay…I asked what if there was an emergency and we needed to alert reception….they just smiled and said it I’ll be ok??? 3 days there was no coffee available at breakfast “machine broken” The pool bar was never attended by anyone so if you wanted drinks/food you had to go inside the restaurant to order. However, like most hotels in Bali the staff were very accommodating and friendly. *NOTE* there are no elevators at this hotel so if you have any trouble climbing stairs make sure you don’t book a 3rd floor room.

The staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. We arrived early for check in before heading off to play golf. Our bags were moved to our room and waiting when we returned. They also upgraded us which was a very nice surprise. Room was great, restaurant, pools and lounge were all amazing. Nothing bad to say about this stay.. price was more than fair, amenities like 24hr convenience, laundry, taxis all just outside the doors of the hotel. Would recommend to others and happy to stay again if we return.

It is an older hotel but truly a grand one. The courtyard with twin 66 foot pools is an oasis of beauty. They have a beach club and a shuttle goes back and forth regularly. The breakfast is sumptuous and includes western and Asian foods. They did not do gluten free but with all the available choices, who cares! The beach club is gorgeous and the beach is wonderful- sandy, clean and so warm.

Beautiful Pool
This is a smaller hotel (60 rooms) and we visited in February so the hotel was quiet. The rooms are large and generally excellent, the bathroom is one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel. The room was very clean and well looked after by our housekeeper. The pool area was absolutely wonderful, we spent lots of time here. The hotel is ordinary looking from the front but thankfully improved when we climbed the stairs to the lobby. The breakfast was average but the lunches and juices by the pool were fabulous. For the price it’s a good choice and I would definitely stay again just for the pool area.
