Sailor's Retreat is a two bedroom, two bath weekend getaway part of the Southern Living Inspired Community in River Dunes. The two-bedroom bunkie has an eye-catching apron-front sink with a coastal pendant fixture, stainless steel appliances and custom shaker-style cabinetry. The living area has a gas fireplace and painted shiplap walls. This cottage also includes a queen bed in the master, queen bed in the second bedroom, stackable washer and dryer in a laundry closet as well as basic cable and Wi-Fi. Screened porch and shared fire-pit overlook the harborview location. This cozy getaway is within walking distance of the community's amphitheater, marina and new Harbor Village. Harbor Club Guest Fees are specific to each home.

Sailor's Retreat is a beautiful cottage inside River Dunes. The cottage is a perfect retreat for a small family or two couples traveling together. It is updated, tastefully decorated, and clean. The beds were great. Having the screened porch was an added bonus. The communication from the owner was great. River Dunes itself is a great community in Oriental.

What an incredible place!
Perfect for a quiet getaway. We happen to be there for the Dragon Boat Races!! Heard of them, but haven’t seen them until now. Great event to bring the community together. Staff at all locations in the community were great and extremely friendly! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a few days of peace and quiet (except for the frogs-lol)

Great rental, not much to do in the nearby area
The house is great. Super clean and cute. The neighborhood is beautiful and very relaxed. Pros: Very clean, nice people, beautiful views, walking trails, great pool, biking areas, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding The location could be better: restaurants in the area close early and are only open certain days, no major stores/shopping nearby (bring everything you’ll need with you) This is a great destination if you’re looking for a very relaxed vacation mostly staying onsite and staying in for meals. This will be a great neighborhood and destination once the surrounding area grows with more shopping and dining options.

Perfect retreat
We loved this property! It was immaculately clean and had everything we could have asked for, in a cozy and beautifully decorated retreat. Communication with the rental agent was excellent and the location was wonderful. It was quiet but also had the convenience of the marina, shops, restaurant and nearby Oriental. We plan on returning and recommend it highly.
