Nugget Pahrump
Hotel Customer Service was professional and friendly. They allowed me to check into my room early. Bed wasn’t as comfortable as desired. Steakhouse was delicious, a little pricier. You have to pay for your side. Dinner did come with bread & soup or salad. No bar tender (believe she called in) at sports bar during football Sunday. Fun place to play and slots not too tight.

The management was wonderful- they helped me correct a billing error i made. The cleaning staff did their best, but the room was awful. The walls are painted dark red and there are no ceiling lights- just 3 tiny lamps. Not even a light in the shower. You can barely see yourself. Very old wood furniture with minimal storage space. The carpets are filthy- my socks got dirty walking around the room, and there is tape on the hallway carpet to cover tears. There was no security protecting the hotel from the lobby- anyone could have walked from the casino into the Hotel rooms- even get in the elevator. The casino staff was also very nice- i think the problem is whoever owns the hotel doesn’t want to put any money into updating it. If the room and hotel had been in better condition this would be a completely different review.

The hotel was fine enough, though a bit old and shabby looking. The check in was awful, very slow and not friendly. The hotel room has adopted that weird full shower thing so many hotels are doing now that is unpleasant to use.

Overall, staff in ALL areas (Hotel check in, in house restaurants, housekeeping, bar maids, casino cashiers, etc) were very welcoming and friendly. My room was missing an iron and ironing board and upon informing this issue it was graciously corrected. But, when first entering my “Smoking King Size Bed Room” (only room available at time of booking for father in law of 33 years funeral service) on the 3rd floor, the stagnant smell of cigarette smoke starts from exiting the elevator, down the corridor and room smelled the same. I strongly recommend adequate airing, deodorizing, shampooing rugs in corridor and especially in the ROOMS. This recommendation comes from a smoker. But, I still loved, enjoyed my stay and HIGHLY recommend it!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
