This fifth-floor condo has been updated with new wood-style tile flooring throughout and has access to a large balcony from both the master bedroom and the living room. More features include a well-equipped kitchen and in-home laundry for added convenience. Additional sleeping can be found in the living room on a queen sofa bed.

Walk down the county pier for great views of the water, or grab a bite at Bayou on the Beach, Saltwater Grill, or The Wicked Wheel. Spend a day riding waterslides and lounging in the lazy river at Shipwreck Island Waterpark. Pick up souvenirs at Monkey Shack or Sunsations. Rent a scooter and cruise Front Beach Road with the Gulf air surrounding you.

THINGS TO KNOW
While the property management company provides an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to get you through your first day, we do not replenish them. Please make sure to bring these additional items to get you through your vacation.
No smoking or vaping is permitted at the property (including on porches, decks, or other outdoor areas) at any time. Fines of $250.00 will be issued if this rule is not respected.
Two beach chairs and one beach umbrella is available to guests.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Beautiful condo with beautiful views. Clean & decorated well. There weren’t any coffee cups & a few other kitchen utensils but it didn’t affect our stay.

Nice Condo - A Few Items Need Attention

Overall it was a nice property, very clean and comfortable. We took a girls trip and planned to do some cooking. Our reservation was for 5 adults. There were only 3 coffee cups and minimal dishes, no mixing bowls, muffin pan, etc. We had to buy disposable coffee cups and muffin pan before we realized there are no bowls except cereal bowls. Also, we were counting on using the sofa bed - don't make that mistake. The mattress is unusable. When the reviews say that the elevators are slow, take note! There are only 2 elevators for 18 floors plus penthouse. The wait for the elevator when unloading and checking in was unbelievable. Every time we were waiting in line for the elevators, someone would mention how hard it had made their stay. Some people opted to use the stairs if they were staying on a lower floor. Some of our party did as well, but it's not feasible to do if you have bags to carry. We bought a wagon at Walmart just to haul in groceries so that we wouldn't have to hold bags while waiting for the elevator. The view is great and the condo is clean and comfy. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable as are the bunk beds.

Great!

It was very clean and welcoming. We were only able to stay a couple days, but we arrived after our trip to Destin. This place was larger than we expected. It's even better than the photos! The view was fantastic. It was great being able to look at the sunrise in the morning from bed or the balcony. A couple things we noticed were: -The lock on the master balcony was missing. This wasn't a deal breaker since it was the 5th floor. It did make me a little nervous about neighbors climbing over and getting in, though. Never happened, but my worrying mom mind can get away from me. -The master bath door lock was broken (unable to turn). It was my family staying with me, so I was ok with that. -The hallway bathroom lock would unlock if the handle was turned (rendering the lock useless). It caused a slight issue with my children, but they're family so it was fine. -The washing machine would turn off mid cycle. I tried to turn it on twice and it wouldn't get to the spin or rinse setting, so I said forget it and accepted that we would wash our clothes when we returned home. -The elevators got crowded during peak times (lunch/dinner/after it rained), so being on the 5th floor was great! We could use the stairs better than those who stayed on the 18th floor! -If you go to bed early, expect to hear your neighbors stomping a little or slamming their doors. It's not the unit's fault, though. People need to be more considerate. -This place had everything I needed in the kitchen to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We were very pleased with how clean and tidy everything was. -Lastly, when we entered the room we were changing into our swimsuits. Our door was opened by a lady with a welcoming packet. No knock, nothing. She walked in without warning. My son was naked, but quickly hid when he noticed someone inside. It was definitely unexpected, but I'm chalking it up to us not going to the welcome desk prior to entering the room. All in all, I still rate this 5 stars. It was beautiful, convenient, and CLEAN. I appreciate the last bit more than you know.

It was The worst vacation ever Air didnot work in room Was just a horrible vacation

At first it took us an hour to get in a room because of the mixup with the emails then the whole time we was there are air was messed up it was 80° in the room the whole time We called three times for someone to fix it we came home a day early because it was so miserable we will not be going back to that location Was told we would be getting a call from the manager on a refund and still haven’t heard nothing from them

Condo was great. Management company was a nightmare.

Condo was as described. No issues with the condo itself. We were unable to check in on time and were locked out of our room daily. Onsite staff was unable to help since I booked with a third party. Each call made to the 1-800 number took about 20-30 minutes each time. Each time I called I was told something different. Very frustrating after spending the day in the hot sun to have stand outside your door to call to get an access code because the code was changed daily. The condo is great but owner may want to consider a different management company.
