Good resort, but mind the sales pitch!

Only two bad things to report: the sales pitch to sign up for a timeshare presentation. Secondly, the parking versus check-in locations were confusing and we went to the wrong building the first time. There was some signage but it wasn't clear.

Just Perfect!

Absolutely perfect! Deluxe 1br was great and spacious. Bigger kitchen than at home. Cooked every meal. Became a balcony dweller. Loved it! Booked 3 more trips in the next two months. Find the good rate dates, and it can be the cheapest option in town if you can be that flexible. No one tried to sell me anything. Even if they had an hour each day, still the best money I’ve spent on lodging in a long time. Can’t think of one complaint.

This is in a great location. The only downside was only one option in the resort for any food, and with limited open hours. No breakfast available at all.

It’s a time share trap!

If you want to spend your vacation waiting on an elevator to go to a dirty room after getting a very aggressive (uncomfortable and inconsiderate of our time) sales pitch for a time share (without any advance warning and you have to listen to get a wrist band that actually does NOT open your door!) then go here. Unpleasant staff to boot.

Elevators on Wyndham side need work. Do yourself a favor and use the elevators on the Emerald beach side.

Was badgered by time share sales persons for 45 minutes when checking in. Even after I told her I was sick and having vertigo she disregarded my condition and continued to let me know that I was hurting the time share by not attending the pitch meeting. Will never stay at another Club Wyndham again!

Enjoyed our stay. The condo was in great condition and had necessary utensils we needed. We had a 21st floor one bedroom unit (I heard the higher the better). Great views. Check in was smooth until we had to talk to the concierge. We had read the reviews that noted this pushy concierge tactic. Luckily- We ended up spending two minutes with her as we told her that we are members with Hilton Grand Vacations and have no interest in another time-share condo affiliation. Walked to the Pier in the morning (saw Dolphins, a lot of fish and stingrays from the Pier) and shopped at the Pier Park. Very nice area. We walked to dinner at Sharky's. Had the grilled shrimp. It was delicious. Stayed for the live music which was an absolute great time. Would stay here again!

Expect time share sales

I wish we would have remembered Wyndam always has sales pressure for time shares. I was not happy that they wanted to take up so much time when we checked in.

I liked the property over all, it was right on the beach, the garage was a bit too far away. You had to cross the sky ridge to get there which was cool and they made it convenient. Staff wasn’t to friendly but they were professional. The elevators (2of them) had a dip in the floor. You couldn’t see it because the mats were covering it but it did feel unsafe in those 2elevators. The bathrooms and baseboards were fairly clean, but pretty decent overall.

We stayed for a quick weekend girls trip. It was perfect. In February the pools are heated and we were able to swim and enjoy the hot tub. Everything was clean and well maintained.

I absolutely loved our room. Breathtaking views of the ocean. Clean and comfortable. Heated pool and hot tub were available. Perfect location. Able to walk to several restaurants and shops. The parking was very inconvenient. Had to park far from the hotel and take a shuttle to and from. Then get on three different elevators to get to your room. Though I am Thankful for the shuttle, I feel like we should have been told about the garage closing. The sales pitch was absolutely ridiculous and they get flat out rude. Was sales pitched at the front desk and when I kept telling her no, she got an attitude and her demeanor completely changed. Then two different times on my trip I was called with the same sales pitch….it was aggravating. Overall, I would stay again when the garage is open. I will just stop answering my phone when they call for the sales pitch.

The place was beautiful we had a great time unfortunately we happen to arrive while they had the safety testing going on so had a couple days of crazy loud sirens going so could be at the hotel all day for about 2 days but after that wonderful time
