Clean, tidy, very boutique feel, great location and perfectly acceptable; however, for us slightly let down as despite promising ‘sound proofing’, it was anything but as we found out when next door neighbours began talking at 5 in the morning and could hear revellers outside all night.

Although the property was in a very convenient location, there were some things I wish were mentioned prior to me booking. The room was extremely small with barely any space to walk around. The bed was hard and not comfortable to sleep in. The staff was mostly friendly except for the one male employee upon our check out that acted as if we were inconveniencing him by rolling his eyes and sighing.

What a great location! Metro down the street, RER hub 5 mins away, easy walk to so many attractions. Friendly and helpful staff. Bakeries and stores abound in the area.

Absolute Gem. Best location in Paris. one block to Rue St Denis filled with restaurants, bars & shops. Walking. distance to Louve, Notre Dame. If you like to walk can even walk to Pantheon, Eiffel Tower, Champs. Subway one block. Staff was fabulous. Have a fantastic sitting room that has the comforts of you living room at home. Room was exactly as pictured on website. Well appointed, clean, with comfortable beds, linens & pillows. As with most European hotel rooms are smaller than accustom to in US. Small elevator. We will stay there anytime we visit Paris. Was a fantastic choice.

The property is beautiful- old charm. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The provided water kettle and coffee/tea are appreciated. It can be noisy due to the nearby bar and some homeless people sleeping very near the hotel.

The staff was really friendly and accommodating! I arrived earlier than my check in and have a tour to go to and they took my luggage in. When I got back to the hotel it was past 7 PM and they already took my luggage up in my room! They also check in with you from time to time. Asking how your day is going and Al.

Hotels in Paris involve compromise. You want a large suite with everything, something in the low numbered arrondissements… be prepared to pay big. This is a very nice hotel w Paris size rooms, very close to everything

Excellent location to walk to most main attractions. Room was small but comfortable. It’s an old hotel so we could hear noise from other rooms. Thankfully we had a room at the back as there are 2 bars right across the street that had outdoor seating and were quite loud. We enjoyed the area for walking. Lots of restaurants , bars, shopping within walking distance as well as Metro and Train station. Very close to the Seine River.

EXCELLENT service, great room! only issue that travelers should be aware is the walls are paper thin and you will lose sleep when the neighboring rooms have a conversation. I had challenges with the neighbors in the room next door but loved the hotel!

Britannique advertises rooms for up to 3 people plus FREE rollaway beds, if needed. Both, Expedía and the hotel website advertise it. We booked 5 nights. But when we arrived we were told that only 2 adults and 1 minor child could stay in the room. We tried to cancel the remainder nights, and we were told No. So we ended up booking an extra hotel room for the extra family member almost 30 minutes away. Very misleading advertising.

Lovely staff and rooms in a solid location. With the exception of the internet being down, the stay was without incident. While the room I had was “unique” with a slanted bathroom roof requiring some fun maneuvering to navigate brushing teeth etc, the staff did their best to go above and beyond to sort the internet issues. While they did persist, causing significant problems for work and personal matters, the property was otherwise a solid choice near Chatlet metro and convenient to Notre dame, isle St. Louis, the louvre, Tuileries etc. Reccomended ✅
