Needs updating/
The stay was okay. It was an older hotel definitely could use some updating. The door to the hotel did not like to stay shut. Therefore, you had to make sure you secured it issues with the bathtub not wanting to drain. It is in a great location. I’m giving the hotel the rating that I’m gave it due to the simple fact that it definitely needs updating and we had to leave our reservation early due to a death in the family. We checked out early the front desk lady said that she could not give us a receipt because we booked through Hotels.com and that we would need to contact them. I contacted them. They said they had to reach out to the hotel to make sure that we did check out. I requested a refund for the days that we did not stay. They said they would have to check with the hotel. I got an email this morning telling me that they have reached out multiple times to the hotel and unable to give me a refund for the remaining days. I find this crazy for the simple fact that it states that if I do not show up from my reservation, they will charge me for one full day and any fees. Which I totally understand however I showed up from my reservation stayed two full days had a family emergency and requested a refund for the remaining days. The hotel tells me I need to contact the people I booked through the people I booked through. Tell me they have to contact the hotel. Something is not right with the situation so therefore I will not be booking with either one of these again.
