Hotel canceled our reservation without notice
At arrival (10:30pm) we were told by the hotel desk and also the manager that unfortunately they had to cancel our 2 nights reservation because they didn’t have a clean room to offer us. At arrival! They didn’t have an alternative solution either on a weekend where all hotels were sold out. Terrible!

You won't be disappointed
It was really nice, the staff was very friendly. The view from the room was amazing. The breakfast was okay. All and all I would recommend this place for the price. If you're okay with traffic noise it will wake you up in the morning

Talked to front desk to let them know it would be extremely late before we could check in. My three day stay was already paid for, a month plus in advance. I was assured that because the stay was already paid for additionally to the call it would not be a big deal. We had an incident didn’t make it to the hotel until 7am Friday morning. When I arrived I was told that not only was my account charged for a late fee and a no call no show, but the additional day I had reserved was booked out and I had nowhere to stay. After around 20 minutes or arguing I was made to go get my phone from the car to “prove” I called because I didn’t get a name. When I showed clerk the phone number she stated “well that’s not our number”. I then called the number, as soon as I did her phone rang. After this incident she magically found us a room. I find this COMPLETELY unacceptable and unprofessional. My best friend is a local physician at the hospital it was his wedding, I was the best man. This almost spoiled my entire trip. I will never be using this hotel again. LASTLY I had to cancel my Saturday night reservation which was done almost a week early. I still have not received a refund which is also unacceptable.

Pleasant older motel. Rooms are on the small side but we'll maintained. Comfortable beds. Only problem was the limited seating in the small breakfast room that wasn't adequate for the number of guests. Allowing guests to take their breakfast back to their room would help in the morning.

We had a bay view, ground floor. 1st impression when walking in the room was it’s “ok”, looks nice, organized. The door did not close very well, had to slam it shut. Floorboard areas were all dirty, dusty making you wonder what the rest of the hard floor was like. There were cleaning spray bottles hanging from the clothes rack by sink. Sink lights flickered all the time. The toilet/shower room floor was sketchy, like mold was growing. Bottom hem of the shower curtain appeared moldy. There was only one decaf packet. The cafe looked nice and was surprised it was open all day with various foods available. Assortment of ice-cream bars, drinks. We checked it out on a late afternoon and there were several metal pots with assorted choices, I only recognized what I assumed was Chile. I don’t see any labels. I didn’t take a chance at trying any of those. I did try one of the three “icee” flavors and it came out as syrup….no ice/slush. They also have a sign stating all food has to stay in the cafe you can’t take it back to your room. When we walking in, there was no place to sit even if we did feel adventurous enough to try the food. We were only there for the weekend and were only in the room to sleep. The king bed was adjustable and had various massage options which was pretty relaxing. For that price per night, I’d expect the cleaning staff would have more of a detailed eye to clean thoroughly. I may try it again if I couldn’t find a better option for what I’d be willing to pay.

Dated, cramped, not entirely safe (use of several surge protectors to plug the light cords, microwave, fridge in), grout in bathroom floor old and crumbling, no housekeeping service after first night's stay (scheduled our check-in at 8pm and rooms were not clean and ready, not to mention we waited in a line for 1.5 hours to check in despite having completed our check in online), overhead light in bathroom flickered relentlessly when on at expected level, door threshold was rotting and not secure, calls to front desk went unanswered several times before someone finally picked up. No other hotels in area had any rooms available or we would have gotten a refund and not stayed. Do not recommend this location for your stay unless you are desperate!

No Coffee
So there is no coffee maker in the room. That is ridiculous! I’ve traveled for work for years and never had a room without coffee. I love my coffee when I wake in the morning. As most people do. But you’re not going to get that here. I won’t be back!
