The AC unit went out so our first night was pretty uncomfortable. The lady at the front desk was pretty rude to my husband the next morning when he went down to ask about getting someone to look at it or getting a new room if it couldn’t be fixed. She told him there was nothing they could do for us if it couldn’t be fixed quickly because we booked through Expedia. The maintenance guy did arrive quickly and was friendly. We left for several hours and came back to a much cooler room.

Great area. Lots to do close to hotel. Property was clean. Breakfast wasn’t good though. Had a hair in the breakfast sandwich. Muffins had a weird taste. Pool was fun. Room had a big fridge, not a mini one and lots of cooking supplies. Wasn’t a fan of the barn door on the bathroom the kids couldn’t get it locked. But rooms were very roomy.

The area is perfect because you are close to many restaurants and activities. Dollywood is 5 minutes away. The staff is friendly. The breakfast at the hotel is good and has a nice variety. There was ample seating to sit and enjoy your breakfast. The grandkids enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools. Our room had a musty odor that was more recognizeable when you would be away and then return to the room. We noticed the ceiling above the tub had water damage at one time so maybe that is the reason for the odd odor. Our shower walls had hair on them. The sofa-bed is stained and the darkening shade on the window is stuck down in the cl9sed position. It looks like it is all bunched up on the upper left side and won't move. It is very worn so probably time to replace it.
