Good people. Good service. Not perfect , but who is. I recommend a cold dip in the loch. Table tennis was fun. Squash was fun. Sauna we made it hot. Dinner was not bad. Played the board game Cluedo in the evening.

Having decided to attend the Blair Castle Horse Trials a bit later than we planned, Loch Rannoch was one of the few places available to accommodate our group. How lucky for us! Having gone the indirect route, we were met with a friendly and accommodating receptionist (I wish I'd gotten her name) and were able to check into our rooms early. While the entrance and lobby areas exuded old Scottish charm, our rooms were updated, clean and had all the amenities. My room had a spectacular view of the Loch!. Bed was super comfy, bathroom/Shower were clean and loved the warm towels, and appreciated having USB ports located throughout the room. Though it was August, temps were in the 50's low 60's and enjoyed the evening fires in the lounge bar area which featured comfortable seating and a variety of board games for guests to enjoy. Food in all dining areas was delicious. Travel companion selected fish and chips - best she's ever had. The reception staff were all friendly and eager to advise guests on activities and places of interest, which made our staff even better. We took their advice and spent a wet afternoon at House of Bruar and then enjoyed treatments at the spa. Overall a wonderful, charming stay with absolutely stunning views.

A lovely hotel with beautiful views of the loch. Dog friendly, there was a dog bed, towel, treats a bowl and even poo bags waiting for our pup. We dined in the bar because we had our dog with us and the food was excellent. I had scallops and sirloin steak. A good wine and beer selection and great service. My only complaint was the weather but it brightened up in the morning and we went on a lovely walk with views of Schiehallion. Would highly recommend

Incredible views, fantastic staff and lovely rooms! Very comfortable bed with great design. The spa was a lovely experience and there were plenty of things to do, alongside walks. You can definitely imagine spending many nights here, enjoying the best that Scotland has to offer.

Family hotel.
Very family orientated Food was ok but disappointed that we didn’t get to eat in the main restaurant because it was always full and for the fact that The vegetarian option (no choice ) was disappointing and this is why we did not eat in this restaurant a d I would not class this as a. al a. Carte meal. We won’t be returning

Service was very poor particularly in the bar and brasserie - staff are more intent on pandering to coach tours of visiting tourists and whole experience reflected a level of service acceptable to the captive audience of day trippers - the management would do well to reflect on whether they value individual guests like ourselves booking directly and expecting a much higher standard of guest care - one to cross off the list

Ok experience - food was mediocre, so was the service. Pool and changing rooms were not up to 4 star standard, unclean with a much needed upgrade. Otherwise perfect location and potential to be a great hotel - but needs some attention to service, food and upgrades.
