Considering I paid the hire cost of the room for the convenience of the free continental breakfast, both mornings the eggs, sausage, and biscuits were all cold and I was in the dining hall between 7:30-8:30 both mornings.

The entire property was humid to the point of feeling damp. Our room was stuffy and sweaty. Even the armchair felt wet. I doubt the room had been used for days and the air conditioner was not on and moving cool air as it normally is when we entered the space. The room had a noticeable odor related to the humidity that persisted for the 15 hours we were there. The fitness center had working equipment but it was also being used as a storage area for a big rack of old window blinds, cast off casement, and other general items destined for the dumpster. The rack was parked adjacent to a wall mounted tv that had long since been disconnected. The breakfast was a disappointment. There was standard southern fare: sausage and gravy over biscuits. That would be a fine thing if it weren’t essentially the only alternative. There was no fruit. No toast or bagels were available. The small boxes of cereal were all targeted at children: Frosted Flakes, coco puffs, and the like. The woman at the desk, feet away from the breakfast area, noted that the selection was what it was and she wasn’t responsible for the lack of other non-sugar alternatives. All in all, this was the poorest property we’ve booked in several years over many extended road trips. Why did we stay? Because we had booked online through Expedia after having dutifully compared reviews and prices among competing properties in the area. We were traveling through and simply stuck it out.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Checkin was easy. Breakfast was good---sausage, eggs, waffles, juice and coffee. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Quiet environment. The only issues were the tv not working in our first room, but she changed our room right away. And we had some ants in our room so we had to make sure to put food in fridge. Fairly clean, but could use some updating. Overall a nice hotel.

Rooms were dirty and sheets not clean lots of ants rooms need to be sprayed. Toilet's were nasty, this by far the worst comfort inn I have stayed in.

Upon opening the door to the room, we found socks laying on the chair, which tells me that cleaning the room prior to our arrival wasn’t great. Shower had a small crack that had been fixed, and was mostly clean. Room had a musky smell, with the air conditioner set on 65 when we came in, it was fairly warm in the room. Breakfast was what you’d expect for a free breakfast, good overall.

Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Pool was clean and very refreshing. Guests were very polite and pleasant. One thing about would like commend another guest on is their honesty. Unbeknownst to me, I had dropped a personal check made out to me for over $300. As I was relaxing at the pool, another guest who I had several hours earlier at the pool, came up to me and asked me if I had dropped something and handed me the check he had found in the hallway. I was so impressed his character and honesty. I am staying here due to damages to my home from a tornado, my Dad graciously paid for my stay since my insurance is not wanting to do so. This young gentleman proves there are men of character. I did not get him name, but he is the kind of person I pray I am raising my own son to be.

I had no soap, tv didn’t change channels, toe nails on carpet, zig zags in the trash can, door doesn’t have security lock, mold on AC. I got into hotel and went to bed after driving over 12 hours straight. I noticed the additional items the next day (I had noticed soap and lock). I reported it to the front desk and they didn’t even apologize. They blamed me for not reporting it the day before. I would avoid this place.

The check in staff was super nice and helpful. The room had an odor about it. Like doggie smell. I found some dry dog food on the carpet and the commode was dirty. The yogurt for breakfast was Trix?? There was a gallon of milk instead of individual cartons; no flavored creamer. The place is old.
