It definitely should not be rated exceptional. The staff was very nice but we didn’t see a single room that looked like the one in the photos. The first room we checked into was clean enough but I’ve never seen such old, beat-up sinks. The room was very dated. We asked for another room and were shown two more that were no better than the first room we were given. All of those rooms were on the second floor. Finally, we were offered one on the first floor which looked better. I hate to be critical but I think it is only fair that people know what to expect.

The water pressure in the shower was terrible-almost nonexistent and the shower head was rusty. The front desk person was very kind.

We needed a place to stay for the night-indicated handicap parking in description-however, when we checked in-really was not handicap accessible-very difficult to move my husband in a wheelchair in and out of door and room was way too small to use wheelchair-fortunately he could use his wallet.

The property was clean with fresh paint and the staff was helpful. However, the rooms were sub-par. We shifted from our original room because there were no towel bars in the bathroom. The second room weas dark, with insufficient lighting and electrical outlets and poor plumbing. The management did say that a complete rennovation was beginning in 2025.

I had some circumstances come up Where I had to cut my reservation short. The staff was so understanding and gave me a refund for the day I couldn’t stay. That was incredible customer service.

Horrible smell throughout facility...as if overuse of room deodorizer/sanitizer everywhere. Bathroom was in poor condition...door jam missing, sink old, cracked and stained, floor tiles cracked, no cups for water. There were several patches/paint scrapings on room walls. Perhaps this area had not been renovated as yet.

Clean and not over priced!

Looked for a budget friendly hotel in the area close to everything. Casco bay inn was the right last minute choice. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was provided, although we chose the Freeport cafe down the street. Much better than cereal, breads and juices.

We stayed one night on the way to Nova Scotia. The hotel was very nice and neat. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were very good. Breakfast was good with the typically cold offerings these days. TV was a little small compared to other hotels these days. Staff was friendly. 3 mi to Freeport.

We had 2 rooms. One had a bathroom that was not very clean and was extremely used, needing major updates. First time ever asking to change a room. The other room had a strange odor. Also major strong air freshener odor in the hallway, like they're trying to cover something up. The whole place was very tired. The front desk person, however, was very polite and accommodating with our request of a room change.
