The property was in an excellent location near main shops, restaurants and the wharf. Staff was very friendly and I liked the text messaging caching in on our stay. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very uncomfortable for both of us and we did have a mishap where our room door was not closed after housekeeping cleaned the room and we returned at 10:00 pm to find the door cracked. We liked the coffee and snack bar that included water, fresh fruit, pastries and cookies. We did not fee it was worth a $45 per day amenity fee, however did enjoy the convenience. Parking was also $45 per day, there an additional $90 in feed seems steep for a hotel in Portland. Valet staff were very friendly and attentive.

Room had a horrible smell, something dead/rotting in the room. Think dead mouse under furniture in the summer. Staff offered to provide an air purifier. Couldn’t get me a similar room. Had to be downgraded. Room condition awful. Switches loose and falling out of sockets. Shower was scalding nearly burned. No safety. Awful experience.
