I had a horrible experience. The room smell so bad that I couldn’t even stay for the night I had to find somewhere else to stay. I do not recommend.

There was no closet or even a single hook on the wall or door to hang anything. The room was very small which I expected, but I’ve stayed in smaller rooms that had a rack with shelf and hangers so it was very disappointing that they couldn’t even supply that. There was wall space for that. The shower head was not adjustable and the water went straight over my head onto the back wall of the stall. I had to use a cup to fill with water and splash onto me. I couldn’t wash my hair. Those two things were so discouraging, I would not stay here again. Otherwise staff was very friendly and parking was included and convenient.

If it wasn't for the seafood festival or beach, I wouldn't of paid it. They need better pillows. Very flat and my neck is payingbit for it now.

The hotel was great location. They had no problem taking your money never saw person at the desk for three days. I have seen bigger broom closets than the room. We were in lput sign for maid cleanup on the door three days. Nothing ever got cleaned known new towels daily or anything I parking was 3/4 of a block away thought I was going to get a room with a balcony on it and ended up in a hole in the corner. One window with no view. They said they microwave there was none in the room. Had her refrigerator.

The Atlantic Sands is a located in the middle of the action in Hampton Beach. It is easy walking distance to several excellent restaurants and shops, and is directly across from the beach. I stayed in a beach-view room with a balcony for a reasonable cost and was able to watch a beautiful sunrise across the water. That being said, the hotel is older and in need of maintenance. As an example, one of the supports for the curtain used to screen the balcony was faulty and fell out as soon as I moved the curtain. The staff was rarely in the office, but there was a button that could be pushed to summon them. Further, the parking was not as advertised on Expedia. One of the pictures in the gallery says "free parking" while showing the paid public parking adjacent to the beach. The actual free parking is located in a gravel lot 2-3 minutes from the hotel, and certainly not photogenic.

I loved my stay here over Labor Day weekend! Was very clean, balcony view for sunrise, and parking was easy. Coffee shop downstairs was great with smoothies and bagels/muffins. Will stay again!

While not the most up to date place it was clean and everything worked as it should. There was never anyone at the front desk. Tons of food and shopping right next door and the views were amazing.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The building is older and in need of some updating, (plumbing for one), and the rooms are very small. But, that being said, the proximity to the beach and our overall experience was good. Happy with our stay.
