I booked a King room with view and prepaid. When we arrived after our event that evening- they gave us a queen accessible room. No tub, no nice view (our was partial water, partial dry dock shipyard & roof of other building) Really wanted a special evening but they didn’t hold our room type.

I was very unhappy that I couldn’t control the temperature. I was cold during my entire stay. When I first arrived there was only sheets on my bed. I complained and they gave me a throw blanket. I would have expected true blankets and a comforter

My two nights stay was great. The room on the 17th floor was modern and updated in trendy decor. The staff were awesome. Hazel, at the bar was personable and customer service oriented. She was so sweet and caring with my grandchildren. My stay was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel. The location was outstanding.

The 4th floor hallway smelled horribly, it smelled of mold & mildew causing the room to smell the same. There was 1 air purifier running in the hallway but I fear it wasn’t enough to get the job done. The bedding, specifically the pillows, smelled of vomit & feces. Worst experience ever at this hotel. I’ve stayed previous times before & had a wonderful experience. This time it felt like a “luxury” truck stop motel. Extremely disappointed.

The hotel is very large and has lovely views of the river. When we checked into the hotel there was one luggage cart and that was the valet’s. My husband observed that one of the carts was being used by remodelers to haul brick. There is no signage to indicate how to get into the hotel since the front entrance is encircled in yellow tape. Although our room was nice, we had difficulty getting towels, wash cloths, and hand towels. Twice we asked the desk staff to have someone bring us replacements, but each time something was missing. Also toilet paper wasn’t adequate since the rooms are only cleaned/serviced by housekeepers upon request by the alerting the desk staff the night before.
